He even reattached a fallen shingle on the roof without charge. He was meticulous, professional, and courteous. Good communication via email. Will hire again."

Josh, the estimator came out as scheduled and was able to schedule the repair crew to come out the next day (due to a cancellation). "They called me on the same day I placed the request on Angies List and set up an appointment to repair the drywall the very next morning. I included a detailed description of the scope of work, this was all confirmed again over the phone. I needed someone to patch up a hole that was roughly 14-18" in diameter. I let them know I had some of the materials - plaster, tape, board - but they used their own. They gave me the option of also sanding and painting which would have extended the scope of work for additional hours (allowing for drywall to dry before painting the ceiling) . I opted out of that to save a little bit of money since I have other renovation costs, but I am glad they gave me that option. Handyman arrived on time, moved and covered the furniture, and taped a barrier around the work space. He told me he would be finished around 11-11:30am, which was accurate. Overall, very easy to work with, reasonable. I plan to hire them again for a few other similar repairs."

"This job was far different from the typical deck finishing. A wood handicap ranch had been added to our home with the recommendation that we wait a year to have it power washed and then sealed. This is the job required. Since the deck extended over an existing concrete porch, special care had to be taken to ensure that the porch would not be stained. In addition, the railings were adjacent to white columns. James McGavin Home Improvement did a beautiful job on the ramp while taking care that no damage was done to adjacent areas.
