"The big box stores only cut up to 4x6 pieces of wood. And they don't cut 6x6 pieces at all. Other lumber yards refused to cut my lumber for various reasons including, the wood was not purchased at their store, or the wood was treated, or they did not want to ruin their equipment (they believed there was a possibility that some metal may have been enclosed inside of the lumber that could cause damage).
