"Dean and his son were extremely professional. After a disappointing experience with the tile and granite people who where hired by the contractor when remodeling our newly purchased condo, I found Solid Surface on Angie's List. I've successfully used Angie's List many times before, but gave in to the contractor's claim that his people were just as good and cheaper. The "cheaper" work ended up being unsatisfactory, incomplete and more expensive. To finish the work that should have been originally done, I found Solid Surface on Angie's List and liked the reviews. I contacted Dean, who saw what was needed, made suggestions, agreed on a price which was very reasonable, and he and his son came on one day to do the sealing and then came again on to install the back splash. They were very careful to cover everything and clean up after themselves. They even did extra work to correct mistakes or sloppy work by the contractor's workers. I strongly recommend Solid Surface Creations for any tile or natural stone work that needs to be done around your home. You will not be disappointed!"

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"They are going to start work by the end of August or in the first part of September.  They came initially on the 15th of June and gave us an estimate.  We were busy.  We also had to check with our financial advisor to get the money for it.  They came back on the 15th of July.  That is when we signed the contract and that is when they did the final measurement.  I thought they did a good job explaining what they were going to do.  They explained the process real well.  They gave us a lot of opportunities with regard to power steam and the types of fixtures we wanted to add.  They were very professional.  They had a lot of stuff for us to look at and make our decision.  They were not pushy.  It was a very good experience.  Their responsiveness was very good.  <br /> On 31 August, the installers came out and torn out the old shower and plumbing and replaced the wall tile, installed new plumbing and a new shower pan.  Then also measured for the new shower  enclosure.  They indicated that it would take approximately 2 weeks to have the shower enclosure built. <br /> on 23 September the installers came out and installed the shower enclosure.  Overall the we are very satisfied with the new shower. I would not hesitate to hire then again. <br />"
