"I hesitated to ever do this review because it was so long ago! But AL keeps sending me requests for review and since I think this is what we go on Angie's List for - to determine who is reliable, professional or not I decided to do this review! They were very nice people, they did a good job in cleaning out chimney and not making a mess. So I also had them do my dryer vent which exhausts up and out through a vent on my flat roof . I thought it would be simple to accomplish! However, he pulled the vent cover off.. instead of trying to find a way to unscrew or ???? and when he did so, he ripped it out of its mooring and cannot be put back on properly. and since I had foam and elastomeric roof coating this was ripped out of that coating and left a big gash of open foaming! Next time it rained... leaked into the ceiling of bedroom below this. I had stated when he was doing it... you can't pull that off there it is imbedded in the roofing! So I feel that this was not a very professional decision on his part to see this was going to be and then chose to pull that off there and thereby create the leak issue!"

"The only positive interaction was when the scaffolding crew started their prep work. Lath crew is fast at putting up house wrap incorrectly (against code and manufacturer directions) and covering it up quickly with EPS. Lath was installed hastily, with no regard for building codes, and against owner directions. Crew rarely shows up, promises to return to fix blatant issues, and inconsistently returns to continue lath installation on other areas. The owner or site supervisor is defensive and doesn’t believe in house wrap. Poor management, false promises, and appalling workmanship is the best Eddie and Sons could provide on our project."

"I was extremely i!pressed with the 3 young men who came to clean and inspect my daughter's two fireplaces. They determined only one needed to be cleaned, and only charged me for one of the two fireplaces. They were so nice, communication was excellent, and I would highly recommend them to my family and friends."

"When our 1-year-old San Tan Valley a/c wasn't keeping up in the summer of 2021, a neighbor recommended I contact Day Advanced Air. I did and the owner very honestly said they were too busy to take on another job. He recommended I contact Magic Touch as he had gone to school with the owner and knew they would do a good job. Steve Day, if you're reading this, I hope you stop recommending Magic Touch! Over the course of June, July and August of 2021, Magic Touch technicians took apart the air conditioner and found nothing, so had to recharge it with new refrigerant; identified the problem as a leak in the lineset and replaced the entire lineset (three trucks on site, multiple technicians for over 12 hours); did a dye test because it was still leaking and said it was the A-frame coil, they'd have to order a new one. In October, when we asked about the replacement part, they were quite puzzled, what were we talking about (we had the invoice for it!) and sent a technician out to get information to ORDER THE PART, which was still under warranty; this technician muttered under his breath about "new guys who don't know anything," leading me to believe that whomever had been doing the diagnosing and who needed all the help to replace the lineset was acknowledged by other company employees as Not Having A Clue. They replaced the coil (part covered by warranty, remember!), refilled refrigerant that had been further depleted by all the horsing around and we went into the cooler months with the a/c seeming to work. We paid Magic Touch $4100.89 during that summer. The BRAND NEW air conditioner, the previous year, had cost only about $1500 more than that! Fast forward to spring of 2022 and guess what, the a/c isn't keeping up. We contacted Steve's Ultimate Air. They have identified the problem as the lineset, which apparently was soldered so badly on that marathon day that the whole thing needs to be replaced AGAIN. Steve's charge for this is under $500, however. Stay Far, Far Away from Magic Touch. They are bait and switch scam artists who send untrained and incapable technicians to your home and who do not stand behind their work"

"highly recommend staying away from Arizona Fireplaces. We just spent $5k on a fireplace that we can not use because it blew the breaker. We were never told that we would need a dedicated wall outlet. Just had Hobaica come out and to do this work it will be an additional $1500. We are beyond upset and displeased. If we would of known this ahead of time we would have not purchased it. AGAIN STAY FAR AWAY FROM ARIZONA FIREPLACES."
