I had another leak last week (not shocking at all considering half the shingles are not laid properly, and they just ?fixed it? by slopping sealant all over a ?brand new roof?). This time they refused to fix the water damage inside, and PAINTED OVER the bubbling paint and damaged drywall. I had to contact the Arizona Registrar of Contractors (ROC) to get them to fix their shoddy work, then they demanded I withdraw my complaint for them to come back and fix the problems they created! The ROC investigates contractors, such as ECO, who do not perform work in a professional and workmanlike manner. The ROC assesses civil penalties and can suspend or revoke licenses. The ROC state agency told them to fix their work, including an IMPROPERLY INSTALLED a bent and damaged Gas B-vent pipe, which is needed for safe furnace operation. A bad gas B-vent can be very dangerous as it can lead to CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING by allowing combustion gases to LEAK INTO YOUR HOME instead of being properly exhausted outdoors. They were also told to fix their improperly applied mortar which was cracking and crumbling, and to haul away roofing items they previously refused to take away. SEE THE PICTURES OF THEIR WORK.
