They were great by phone and text if I had any questions, responding quickly. He arrived the day I was told he would, and he and his crew did a thorough job - removing leaves and mowing. Took them a few hours for a job that would have taken us a few weekends. Kind and helpful. Would hire again and recommend to others."

They worked through the torrential downpouring and cold weather to get it all completed before I got back from a business trip (I knew it was raining due to my view from my ring doorbell). Needless to say, everything turned out better than I could have asked for. "From the moment I submitted the request through Angi to the end of the project, this company was responsive and transparent throughout the entire journey. The concrete holding our front steps together was eroding, which caused water to seep in and create pockets under the granite slabs. The steps were literally coming apart. Additionally, our front wooden threshold leading into the home was rotting. Blue Bones Construction did a beautiful job restoring the steps and replacing the rotted threshold. They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves, and the work was high quality. I would definitely recommend this company."

"After several attempts to just hire Golden Hill Landscaping & Construction (during a bid process), I finally did. The rates seemed comparable, at first. However, there were many projects to be completed at my deceased mother's house. Because I am disabled and not able to get to the property, I couldn't see how badly I was taken advantage of. Not only did I pay for a job they did not do, I also paid for another job that is unfinished, plus a french drain that is causing a sink hole, and the buried equipment is now above ground. All 3 of these projects pose safety risks. The french drain collapse is only a few months after installation. After bringing these issues to the owners attention (the unfinished project I'd requested be completed for months), the owner began ignoring me. When I mentioned that litigation was going to move forward, the owner said he'd look at the work that week then blew me off again. When they actually do work, Golden Hill's quality of work is atrocious and will need to be fixed. They broke the house vinyl siding when cutting down a tree branch and refused to fix it. I hired a contractor to fix that. They will overcharge (snowplowing is expensive), take advantage of you if you are a senior or disabled, and will try to get paid without working. They should not be in business and allowed to take advantage. I now have to pay someone else to fix their work, finish their work, and do a $375 job they never did. They've been paid over $10,000, with more work to be done at multiple properties. They agreed to do a quote at a second property, then never showed up. One would figure, with that kind if business, a company would want to perform quality work and respond to a dedicated customer. Aroldo at Golden Hill Landscaping & Construction will do a poor job or not at all, blow off appointments, ignore requests, and refuse to fix problems. He will, however, not hesitate to pick up a check. You should not ever hire them. If you do, be prepared to throw money away."
