They also pointed out that my chase top has advanced rusting and needs repair. They were on time, polite, wore shoe covers and carefully covered the carpet and hearth area. They provided a detailed written summary of the work and inspection."

"Jim knows what he is doing and is very resourceful/creative at solving difficult problems.  He has been updating my 45 year old home since last summer.  If you expect a rigid 9a - 5p schedule, that may be difficult due to his purchasing of supplies, crew scheduling, and so on, but he will be there and do what needs to be done to get the job completed well.  Jim does not have a problem with fix-it/touch-up issues which may arise after the big job is done.  I recommend Jim highly and have other future projects, which he will be doing  as well.  In addition, Jim has replaced a outdoor basement window-well, custom built shelving/garden station in the garage, power washed the house exterior . . . the list is long! <br />"

"This review is long overdue. After receiving a few bids to add/replace gutters on an entire house, the estimate I received from Providence was the best, even with the addition of leaf guards. I hired Dan on the spot and he and his crew were able to come out the following day to complete the work. They did a beautiful job and the work was completely efficiently. Several months later, a new neighbor of mine was complaining about the insanely high bid he had received to add gutters to his house. I recommended Providence to him and 2 days later, I saw the team over at his place doing the work. My neighbor thanked me for the recommendation and was VERY happy with their work/pricing. I plan to hire Providence again to add gutters to a new property that I purchased."

"One screw type pier installed. 2 workers hand dug hole below bottom of foundation. Cleaned out under foundation for platform. Although foundation was deeper than I thought, the hole was done much better and quicker than I envisioned. Pier was screwed at bottom of hole with a hydraulic motor. Once limit on hydraulic pressure was reached, the pier was cut at proper level, platform installed, and cracked section of foundation was raised with a hydraulic jack. Crack in stonework closed up nicely without going too far and creating additional cracks. Workers had 5 and 15 years experience doing this work. Very professional and did a very nice job every step of the way. Note that I (homeowner) chose to move and reinstall landscaping stones and gutter drain. Also, tuckpointing/repairing the cracks was not included in the quote. I plan to do that myself at a later date."
