"We had a great experience today with Georgia Pack and Load Moving & Storage. The team showed on time, worked very efficiently and were exceptionally professional. With care, they move my furniture and home items, wrapped them to protect during transit and placed them in the desired location at the destination. Zero items were damaged. The team was respectful of my personal items and my home. Again, we had a great experience, and we could not recommend them more highly. 5 of 5 stars!!!"

"The customer service for this company is poor at best. It certainly is my fault that I didn?t read their reviews. They seem to have ?shady tactics? and tend to hit consumers with additional fees when they are most vulnerable. Everyone moving is on a timeline and had a level of expectation when someone is handling their personal belongings. They piled on additional fees after loading the truck and required payment of those fees prior to unloading. This unprofessional behavior seems to be the norm in their reviews. Logan or Jordan (because he had a name change during our conversation) says all fees and expenses were explained because they have a script to follow. Sounds questionable because the calls are not recorded AND they require a $100 non refundable deposit before you receive a contract. My recommendation, don?t use this company unless you have lots of discretionary disposable income. "

"You never know what service you'll get until the movers arrive. I can easily recommend the professionals with Eddy's Movers. They were on time, wearing company shirts, and very friendly. I had a crazy system of setting certain numbered boxes in specific rooms. They brought a dolly of boxes to the front door and asked me where to put each box. They smiled the entire time. There were no surprises to the charges. Thank you to an awesome team!!"

FAQs for in-state moving service projects in Lawrenceville, GA

Laws differ from state to state, but the number one rule is that you cannot move a mobile home on your own. You have to hire a licensed mobile home moving company. While each state is different, you’ll also have to research HUD codes, permits, and other laws specific to the area to ensure your move follows all necessary regulations.

Yes, a permit is required to move a mobile home. You must secure permits in the state of origin and in every state through which the mobile home passes. When moving across state boundaries, obtain a permit for each state. Your moving company assists in acquiring all required permits, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations during the entire relocation process.

No, you cannot move a mobile home built before 1976. Mobile homes constructed before 1976 do not meet current safety standards and must not be relocated. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development enforces strict guidelines that prevent moving older models. Verify the build year and comply with all HUD regulations to ensure safety and legal compliance.
