"Prior to hiring Yolanda Dorantes w/Aly Cleaning Services, she came to my home to assess the work and provide a quote for the deep cleaning/washing dishes. I showed her exactly what I needed cleaned. She looked at everything and gave me a quote. When I first met her she was nice and professional. I was so impressed with her professionalism I referred her to a friend of mine who was also looking for a cleaning service. We set a date for Monday, April 5 at 8am. Yolanda was scheduled to arrive at 8am and arrived at 8:15am. (late but not a big deal) Upon arrival she started to clean in the downstairs bathroom by the way I have a two-story but only needed her to clean downstairs which consisted of one bathroom one bedroom a living room a sitting area and the kitchen with a breakfast area and the stairs. Issues: Bathroom - faucet was not cleaned thoroughly; window seal was not cleaned at all nor did she clean the doors well. Nor did she clean the bottom of the bathroom garbage can which was not filthy it just had like a Q-tip that was stuck to the bottom which was still in there after she claimed she cleaned it Stairs -I had to remind her to vacuum and wipe railing Sitting room - The wine and glass case was not dusted properly there was dust remaining on the top of the cabinet which also had a plant on top of it which obviously was not moved to be dusted. Kitchen - In this area I mostly saw where she was not very detail oriented she indicated that there was an area on the floor near the stove that would not get clean mind you she had not tried to clean it yet. I knew it was just soiled from cooking and took the Dawn power foam, sprayed the area gave it five minutes took a Clorox wipe wiped it and the area came clean. I showed this to Yolanda and she just looked at it and continued cleaning Baseboards - instead of doing a deep clean on the baseboards she actually just took a damp cloth and wipe them which obviously did not get them clean and I know that this was one of the main areas that would require detailed cleaning which was one of the areas I mentioned during her visit when providing a quote. About 12-ish she informed me that if she was not done cleaning by 2:30 PM that she would need to leave to go get her son and she would come back. It was about 2:30pm she informed me that she needed to leave and asked me to pay her and I informed her that she still had not cleaned the one bedroom and the living room; she had not done anything in those two rooms. When asked was she coming back, she said no she mentioned something about having to go far away. I then said do you want to come tomorrow; she said no. She proceeded to want me to pay her full price. I informed her that I was not going to pay her full price because she did not complete the job. I decided that I would pay her something, in the process of paying her she was looking for her business card to get her email so I could Zell her the payment. In doing so she accidentally broke 2 marble coasters w/my initial on them that I had gotten as a gift from my sister. She did not say sorry she just started picking up the broken glass. I phone my sister to find out the cost and took off the total payment half the cost of the coasters. The fact that Yolanda was fully aware of what I expected and what I needed done makes the situation even more frustrating. There is more that can be said but I think I've said enough. It goes without saying I would not recommend this company."
