"We contracted with Honesty Foundation TWICE -- that should tell you a lot. They were on time, and exceeded my expectations for the quality of their work. They were successful where other contractors had failed. Several years later when I needed additional documentation in order to sell the home, they were understanding, responsive, and timely. These are good people who do good work. They have my highest recommendation -- and I don't do that very often!"

"They are responsive, reasonable & reliable. I've used them multiple times over the yrs and I ALWAYS get great service. 1 time I used them after a different plumber failed to fix a burst pipe & Chavez charged MUCH less than the failed plumber. Mr Chavez came out on a Sunday to fix a leaking house water main. I recently used them to relight 2 gas fireplaces after Centerpoint changed my gas meter (it was summer & I didn't think about fireplaces at that time). Chavez charged 1/3 the price vs an over the phone estimate from a fireplace vendor."

"I was shopping around and found that most of the companies charge about the same per sq foot. However, when I spoke to Rich Bailey, the way he explained the entire process, it was great. It didn't hurt that there was an Angie's coupon. The process was over 2 days but, it overall it took maybe 5-6 hours total. A month in and everything is good. The true test will come in a few years as to how it holds up. Do get the feeling that if anything does go wrong, Epoxy Floors will address it."

"I highly recommend using Armed Forces Roofing for your roofing needs. The owner Clint was ver professional and hard working. He was very personable and went above and beyond when it came to walking me through the claim process. They did am immaculate job on the roof and even installed an extra attic vent for me. Armed Forces Roofing uses some of the best products and ensures that the job is done right. The crew who replaced our roof we’re very efficient, and friendly. I will be recommending Clint and Armed Forces Roofing to all friends and family for any roofing needs."

"My family and I started the process of getting a generator back in May. We signed the necessary documents and work began the beginning of June. The main purpose of us getting a generator was for us to no longer be without power during Texas horrible storm season. We have an elderly disabled veteran and now a 9-month-old that resides here so it was imperative that we got the generator. This business lacks communication and accountability! We had to reach out several times in order for them to complete this process. After Hurricane Beryl left us without power for four days, they finally came and completed the job. NOW..we have a d*** gas leak!!! We called them regarding this and they made it seem as if this was normal and would send someone out to look. That never happened. Our neighbor ended up calling Centerpoint due to smelling gas and that's when it was discovered that we had a gas leak. This could've ended tragically for my family and myself and even the neighborhood. Since Centerpoint was here, they did end up shutting off the generator. So now we're back to square one with no generator and no phone call from when this matter will be resolved from the d*** company after I've made several phone calls, text messages, and emails."

"Nothing but great things to say about Precision Roofing & Restoration. Project Manager, Michael T, walked me through the whole process including helping me file my claim, meeting with the insurance adjuster and always communicating with me clearly and quickly. The guys showed up on time and finished early. No debris whatsoever was left around the yard. The roof is beautiful! I highly recommend Precision Roofing."

FAQs for concrete patios, walks & steps installation projects in League City, TX

Most sidewalks rely on a ready‑mix blend of Portland cement, sand, gravel, and water that trucks deliver to your site and pour in one continuous lift. For added strength, many contractors fold in fiber mesh or steel reinforcement. This mix cures into a rock‑solid slab that stands up to foot traffic, freeze‑thaw cycles, and daily wear for decades. Expect a pro to recommend a 4‑inch‑thick pour for standard walkways.

With the right mix, proper drainage, and routine upkeep, a concrete sidewalk can last 25 to 50 years. Freeze‑thaw cycles, road salt, and heavy loads all shorten that timeline, but sealing every few years and patching small cracks early keeps damage in check. Think of sealing as inexpensive insurance for decades of safe, stable footing. In milder climates, some slabs push well past the 30‑year mark without major repairs.

Concrete sidewalks crack as a result of significant temperature fluctuations and heavy load pressures. The freeze-thaw cycles and sustained weight from vehicles or intense foot traffic force the concrete to develop cracks over time. Applying a premium sealant every two to three years and substituting salt with sand for de-icing minimizes crack formation. Regular maintenance and timely repairs safeguard the sidewalk’s structural integrity and extend its service life.
