They removed the damaged portions of masonite, and replaced them with hardie board pieces in a manner that you can't even see where the joints are. He found the problem quickly and offered to repair it that same day, as well as replace my roof vent, which had been damaged by strong winds. He quoted a very fair price. He and his team did an amazing job, matched the color of the damaged shingles, and had everything repaired and looking perfect about 4 hours later. I will call Vantage again for roof-related repairs.
