"Our home's 40 year old cedar siding was badly weathered on three sides. We wanted to repair or replace the siding. After talking with 5 or 6 contractors, none of which were entirely willing to meet our requirements .. I happened upon RuggedRoof and owner Scott. We decided the best approach was to replace three sides of cedar with a textured LP SmartSiding in color nearly identical to our current color. As part of the negotiations I wanted a detailed technical part of the contract listing the work to be done. This nearly caused us to part company in that RuggedRoof was more of an casual approach in terms of contracts (the final contract did all meet the basic legal requirements). After a short time, we relented and went with Scotts contractual approach. Interesting enough, once the contracts were agreed to, we did a walk around of the house and Scott actually verbally detailed all of the work that I initially wanted in the contract. Go figure! Anyway .. Scott was very professional and detailed, A few extra structural repairs were agreed to on the spot. His team is younger, yet experienced group of good hard workers. They all ensured that I was involved and satisfied. Scott touched base with his crew and me about every second day of this approx. 2 week project. Scott's equipment and vehicles are very professional looking. No rusted out trucks with bent ladders, etc. So .. bottom line: Scott and his RuggedRoof crew are highly recommended so long as you are comfortable with a somewhat casual approach to your project. It worked out very fine for us."

After research and consulting with a friend who knew way more about this stuff than I, we concluded that what Gavin was saying was correct and a smart investment for out main investment (our home). Once approved and materials ordered, Gavin had a team out here in less than a month and we had a new roof. It made a HUGE difference to the outside appearance of our home. So much so that I felt some other DIY work needed done so it motivated me to complete some other aesthetics to the outside of our house. I was not paid or swayed to say any of these things. I truly feel the way I do because of working with Gavin at Storm Guard. At times you can never tell if the person standing across from you is taking you for a ride. I never had that feeling from Gavin. He is an honest, good person. It was great having him on my side."

Put drywall over brick face in addition.I supplied stained trim but door and doorway to addition stained by New Leaf. Did great job picking out wood and staining doorway. They installed all wood trim including chair rail and new LVP flooring. Refinished stair to kitchen painted. Also did some light electrical in moving and installing outlets Workers were professional and worked efficiently. I was very happy with time frame of work (three weeks) Wyatt was very quick to come back out and repair a few minor difficiencies.
