"I would highly recommend LaMastra Pest and Wildlife Management LLC. Max took care of our bat issue in the attic. He replied to the Angi request promptly, arrived exactly on time to all appointments, provided a thorough examination of the work before offering an estimate, and began work right away. He provided such an excellent quote I had to insist on giving him a little extra. Very personal, knowledgeable and a true expert. Once again, highly recommended!"

"Bat removal is expensive, but I don't know why. They climbed up on my very high roof to put screens in my ridge vents and did some caulking and such. Put a thing where the bats came out so they couldn't get back in and cleaned up the attic of bat droppings. They do a lot in little time, so I guess they are efficient. I would recommend them. Nice guys too!"

"As many of you know, I do not give endorsements or recommendations lightly Today would be an exception! ADAMS WILDLIFE SERVICES LLC I Tried last year to trap what I thought was A Groundhog, they dug under one of our decks and tunnel under our paver sidewalk where those Pavers Collapsed. Two other holes under the sidewalk around my pool, gave them unlimited access NOT THIS YEAR!!! I called Tom at Adams Wildlife services. He came to our house and set traps and cameras to record trapping success and to monitor their movements with in about a week Tom has captured and relocated five groundhogs, and the cameras show no more movement.!!! He and his wife have an extensive education, specializing in wildlife management and exhibit professionalism, which they easily communicate about the current situation and Their abatement plan in such a manner that is easy to understand!! "Bushner's happened to be in our area doing work for a neighbor, so we contacted them for an estimate on removing a large tree for us. They contacted us very quickly with a price of $1000 to remove the tree and cut it into 'moveable' pieces. This price did not include stump grinding/removal, or removal of the wood (we had friends that took the wood once they were done). We had 3 other estimates, of which Bushner's was the least expensive. They are insured adequately as well, which was a huge bonus. We scheduled them for March 4, which they promptly arrived in the morning (around 8:30am). They were done at approx. 3:30pm. We live in a residential area, and luckily the lot next door to us is empty, allowing them drive on the yard and use the empty lot to drop the tree. We do have a new vinyl fence, which they suggested we have 2 sections of the fence removed (no posts). Our fence installer removed the 2 sections of fencing they requested. The process was prompt and quick! However, the pieces they left were not all 'movable'. There were some extremely large pieces, which required 2 men to move. Also, they removed a fence post (which they did not request prior). They put the fence post back in, but it was not installed correctly or deep enough, so now our fence installer needs to come back out and properly place it. Overall, the process was quick and painless, and I would hire them again. Our tree was very large, and required a lot of work to remove. Their price was the best by far!"

FAQs for bird and bat pest control service projects in Lehighton, PA

You're likely to find nesting birds in external areas such as your gutters, eaves, porches, and chimneys. Some birds also nest in less obvious spots, like attics or even in your ventilation systems if they gain access. A reputable pro will conduct an inspection before starting any work to check for evidence of where birds may have set up roosting or nesting sites in your home.

Leaving birds to roost and nest on your home creates significant risks that affect both your home's structure and your well-being. The constant droppings, aggressive swooping, and persistent noise can damage siding, allow moisture intrusion, and stain exterior finishes. In addition, the birds’ pecking and droppings can spread diseases and parasites, which can lead to escalating repair costs and health hazards.

Yes, humane removal is possible and ensures that birds remain unharmed during the extraction process. Experts use proven methods to safely capture and relocate both birds and their nests to secure environments. Professionals employ stainless steel spikes as a deterrent while avoiding harmful techniques such as poisons or glue traps. You can rely on trusted specialists who strictly use safe, noninjurious methods, thereby protecting the birds while resolving the nuisance.

Yes, there are legal considerations when removing birds and their nests. You must adhere to strict local and state regulations, which safeguard protected native species during nesting season. Special authorization is required to remove protected birds, their nests, or eggs under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Observing these legal mandates avoids violations and ensures safe, responsible removal.

To prevent birds from returning after nest removal, you can implement deterrent methods. Installing stainless steel spikes creates a secure barrier that prevents birds from roosting without causing injury. In contrast, loose nets may entangle birds and other wildlife, creating additional hazards. A trusted professional will choose and install the optimal method to keep your home bird-free.

A bird’s nest remains viable for a period that depends on the species. The construction phase concludes within 2 days to 3 weeks, followed by a rearing stage lasting 2 to 10 weeks. Most birds become fully independent within 2 to 6 weeks, while certain predatory species require up to 2 1/2 months. This timeline can guide you on when it's safe to intervene.
