"Wonderful! <br /> The product we selected from samples and we were pleased. The installers were perfect. Tile installation was Derrick and the carpet installers were brothers, Terry, Jerry and Billy. We could not have asked for a better crew. <br />"

"I called Jon and got an appointment for the next day. I moved furniture before they arrived. Jon did advise oriental carpet 8x10 .50 per sq ft and any one area is over 300 sq. ft will be considered 2 areas. Jon and Assistant Ryan were very professional. The rugs & furniture look brand new. I wanted to add Jon gave me an addition $30.00 discount, because I I belong to Angie's List, and was a first time Customer! I liked that there was not a chemical smell . I will call him again. I hope you will call him too."

"With two dogs living in the house, several spots and dirt had accumulated in the year and a half since the carpet had been installed. The cleaning removed all the spots, and the carpet looks good as new. The service was very efficient and thorough."

"<hr /> We were moving out of a condo that that we had been renting for the last two years and at the last minute decided to have the carpet cleaned. We had planned on doing it ourselves but ran behind as we were doing a self move and ahd gotten behind our plans. He fit us into his schedule, was on time, and did the professional job that we needed done. This is our second useage of this company, so <br /> we obviously would use them again, as well rcommend them to anyone who was asking or just looking for a good carpet cleaner at <br /> very reasonable rates. He was in and out in about an hour, and the carpets were dry when he left. The first time we were just very <br /> surprised, but this time we were pleased with our luck finding a good carpet cleaner that we could count on. <br />"

"It's tough to rate my experience. <br /> The company is great. The installers were the pits. <br /> A 2 day job lasted 10 days. <br /> Amanda (Mgr./Owner?) selected the <strong>wrong</strong> installers. <br /> <em>Tony and his son Ryan had told them they had installed 2 floors using this new product.</em> The product is Alterna Mesa Stone. I pity the previous 2 owners. <br /> I don't know the last names of the installers. <em>They were incompetent. </em> I supplied Tony with a printout from Armstrong on how the tile should be installed. He either can't read or said to himself, and quot;I've always done it this way and will not changeand quot;. <br /> The installation of this product is different from ceramic tile as detailed in instructions provided by Armstrong. <br /> They applied some black and quot;levelingand quot; product. They came back the next day and had to remove it and reapply more. This is highly smelly stuff. They came back the next day to start installing the tile. They ran out of grout because they had not followed Armstrong's installation method. 3-4 days later (needed to order special grout) they came back to finish the job. The next day was the clean up. Tony was using Windex and rubbing the surface as if it was delicate glass. The correct product was a cleaner supplied by Armstrong which cuts through the grout mess they left behind. Tony said, and quot; This is the stuff (Windex) we always use. <br /> He had No clue he wasn't cleaning anything. Neither did he seem to care. <br /> Amanda and her (manager?) came out to clean and correct trim work they had messed up. They spent several hours cleaning and correcting the trim work. I myself spent an additional 6 hours on my knees doing additional scrubbing. The directions state, <em><strong>and quot;DO NOT</strong> spread grout over entire surfaceand quot;</em>. DUH! They did. That's why they ran out of grout and why clean up was so difficult. <br /> Tony may know what he's doing when it comes to ceramic tile. He doesn't seem to want to learn new techniques when it comes to installing Armstrong and quot;Premium Tile Flooringand quot;. This product was more expensive than ceramic tile but looks better and is much nicer on the feet. <br /> I'm very happy with this company and and quot;Alterna Tileand quot; by Armstrong. <br /> Run like h*** if Tony and his son Ryan are the installers for this product. <br />"

FAQs for carpet installation projects in Lenoir City, TN

Carpet rolls come in standard widths of 12 and 15 feet. Less commonly, you might find a roll 13.5 feet wide. There are no standard roll lengths, but they’ll have enough to cover almost any home.

You’ll need equal amounts of carpet padding and carpet. Carpet padding costs $200 to $500 for the average room. However, the padding is trimmed a couple of inches away from the wall on all sides to make room for tack strips. Most residential installs have padding, and professionals include this in their bids.

Often, the best carpet for basements doesn’t include a pad. You’ll find this mainly in humid areas or places with a high-water table.

One linear foot of carpet or other material is simply one foot measured in a straight line. You typically aren’t going to measure carpet this way. It’s quoted in square feet or square yards.

There are nine square feet in one square yard of carpet.

The amount of carpet you need to cover two rooms varies depending on the room size and configuration. Measure the floor space. Multiply width times length. Do this for both rooms and add the numbers together.

You’ll need between 80 and 110 square feet for 13 stairs. For unique stairwells, you might need more.

Measure indoor/outdoor carpet like you would any other area, taking the width times the length. For patios, make sure to add a couple extra inches to wrap around the edges. Indoor-outdoor carpets cost an average of $3.50 per square foot.

You’ll need enough carpet to cover the entire area of damage to avoid seams. For example, if you have a 4-inch tear in the middle of a hallway, you’ll want enough carpet to stretch from door to door or the next available seam. Depending on the type of carpet you have, you might be able to get a professional to do an invisible seam repair.

One square foot of carpet is one foot long by one foot wide.
