"Smoky Mountain Paving is a great company. We had two different jobs done. First, They fixed our road which was in terrible shape - potholes, broken asphalt, no asphalt in some places. They did a beautiful job. They were careful, efficient, and they did not cut corners. We also had them re-pave our blacktop driveway and we are very happy with the work they did there. Again, they pay attention to detail and they do a very good job. In addition to their high-quality work, Alex and crew are really good people. The crew is kind, they always took time to explain what was going on, they checked with us on what we wanted,. In short, it was a real pleasure to do business with Alex and his company. I would definitely hire them again and I have told some friends about this company."

"Blake is a honest nice guy with a hardworking crew. Once they came to my property it took them 2 days and installation went very smoothly. Did not leave a mess, and all was done professionally, and we love our patio. We had issues with getting a confirmed work date. We signed a contract in June and the job was done in October. It was clearly communicated to us by Blake that they do big jobs, and when he has openings he puts in smaller residential jobs in so that his crew has an income year round. Summer is one of their busiest times during the year with big projects, so we were aware that there can be delays, and he is priced at a low rate for residential work because that is not where he aims to make the most profit. However, due to the excessive rain and growing pains for Blake's business it seemed like our job was significantly delayed than expected. Obviously I waited so for us it turned out ok, but I can see how this would be a frustrating experience for others. I did end up with a now it really has to be done moment so I asked Blake to get the job scheduled or give me my deposit back, and after that the job was done without a hitch within a week.
I am happy to have worked with them, and as long as I am ok that there may be a long wait I am happy to work with them again. I do believe that this delay was out of the ordinary for Blake as well, and it will not happen in the future.

"Excellent work, they came in and were extremely helpful and curtiuos. Did exactly as asked, no hard up sell or massive changes to our original concepts. Made great suggestions and helped figure out ways to save money, and reuse existing materials. Will certainly be using them again in the near future for deck resurfacing and hard wood floor installation. Prices were very good, came under budget when compared to some of the really big landscaping companies."

"The foreman can out gave me a quote 7-19. They started the job 7-21 and finished 7-26. I was please with them showing up on time and I thought they had done a good job. Until I had gutters installed. They found several problems with the roof. Some that would greatly affect the gutters. Meaning the roof was cut to short on the edge. Also, places were the short on top of the roof in different places. Nails exposed on the outside off the roof that could cause problems later, the air vent in the top should have been better covered. I reached out to them about the problems and the foreman came out 8-18 went up. Then left. I contacted him and he said he had an emergency. Didn t say when he would be back. Jymes called that evening and ask if the foreman had been out here. I told him he had. I also told Jymes the issues that needed to be taken care of. He didn t say when he would have someone back out. I tried to contact him on the number that I received the call from and was told I had the wrong number. I then used the info from Angie s and received a text the number was not in working order. I felt I had no choice but to file a complaint."
