I had a complete gutter system quoted by three different Angie's List contractors.  I went with the lowest bid, based on Angie's List reviews.  Big mistake.  The company did MANY things poorly (used pieces of cut downspout as hangers instead of actual hangers, mis-matched corners on gutter that needed mitres, did not use "ledge jumpers" so downspout alignment was terrible, used silicone instead of correct sealants on all joints, used multiple pieces of downspout instead of one contuos piece to save money, The previous contactor quoted and installed larger downspouts, but only made small  dropout holes in the gutters, so flow was restricted to the smaller gutter anyway!)

I was not a gutter expert, but I know the previous job as bad.  I looked for a gutter "expert" to look at the botched job and hoped that they would be agreeable to "clean-up" someone elses poor workmanship.  I called Grand Gutter and explained the dilemma..  John came out the same day (within the hour), walked through the entire job while on the phone to me at work and told me exactly what the issues were, how he would fix it.  He is an expert and made me one in the process.  John and team did the "clean-up" from previous botched job perfectly.  He even offered to have the job paid for by CC, which was a first for me on a home repair.  John was awesome to deal with and very customer focused and an expert in gutters.  "When you want the job done right, call and Expert" - John's your man.

I met with the previous contractor of the "botched job" and explained my dissatisfaction with the workmanship and we agreed to a lower price that originally quoted to assist in paying the quoted price to "fix" by Grand Gutters.  The previous contractor was very professional and apologetic that the work did not meet my expectations.  I think they were very busy and using new crew/sub to get all the work done they had biz for at the time.

"They did a great job and have a great product. The true test for me was when I have two trees with helicopters. So the true test was to make sure that both helicopters would not get stock between the gutter. Their covers to the gutter are great. Both helicopters did not get stuck to the covers. Waited a long time to get someone to do the gutter and fina'ly found this company. It was really worth the wait. i would highly recommend them to everyone to do your gutters."

"Our gutters have been in need of attention for some time, then after this last winter they started falling off the fascia! We started calling around for estimates, and found it difficult to get someone out to us. We did finally get a couple companies to give us estimates, and one stood out to us. DualGuard. "Overall the experience was good.  It was a really busy time in NE Minneapolis with recent hail storms causing many people to need work done.  All American Exteriors LLC was able to guarantee getting the work done in the time frame that I had available, and came in at the best price.  I had confirmed lead paint on the exterior of my house, and rather than doing lead mitigation ($20k+), I opted to have my house securely wrapped to seal in the lead paint, with new Vinyl Siding on top.  After getting the quote we found that we would be able to afford getting new Soffit and Facia, as well as the replacement of one window.  After a couple of reschedules due to rain, the crew showed up and got to work.  I was extremely surprised by the amount they got done in just the first day.  They were unable to come the next day due to a vehicle issue (van got stuck in Wisconsin with a bad alternator) - but they were able to make it the next day and get back to work.  It took approximately a week to get all of the work completed - the Owner and his crew were very courteous and willing to address any concerns I had.  They cleaned up after themselves very well (I only found a couple of little things laying around after they left).  After paying for the work they did, they were still very responsive when I found a couple of minor issues that I wanted addressed and were out to get them fixed within a couple of days.
The only real issues I had with the service are the following:
1.  The window install - it took a while to complete, due to an emergency for the contractor.  I was not informed of when he would be back to finish the job and had to call to ensure it would be completed.  Additionally, there was no finishing work done on the inside (silicone/caulk around the edges of the window) - was able to complete myself with little effort.
2.  The dumpster was left at my residence for quite a few days past the job being completed.  Not a huge issue as it was placed out of the way in an unused driveway - however someone had opted to throw a bunch of smelly garbage in it so we had to deal with that.  Not necessarily All American Exteriors fault as they dumpsters are contracted out to a different company.
Would I recommend All American Exteriors to a friend?  Yes.  Would I use All American Exteriors again myself?  Yes.
I have dealt with a number of contractors in the past for various work around my home (Landscaping, retaining wall, roofing, plumbing, siding) and All American Exteriors right up at the top of the list.

"We got a couple bids and Minnestoa Leafless Gutters were about half the price of the other guys.  Tim was so attentive to our concerns.  He took time to really understand where we wanted the downspouts and why.   He made suggestions that worked with the design of the house and got the water flowing properly.  We had some fairly difficult corners on the front of our home and some trickiness on the back too.  Tim's team handled each odd area like champions.  We've had a couple rains now and are very pleased with how they look and work.
