"Because of the current state of our society due to the COVID-19 it was hard for me to imagine that I would receive such GREAT results with social distancing and other measures we must follow to stay healthy. I recently had storm damage on the back of my home that resulted in approximately 20% of the siding being ripped off. The stress of trying to find a reliable contractor to do the repairs is always scary when things are normal, but I must be one of the luckiest people on earth because I reliability in Duane Mainardi. Not only was the work done to absolute perfection, but the precautions to keep everyone safe, the workmanship, the communication, and flexibility was outstanding. Duane was in constant communication with me on problems and adjustments that had to be made during the entire project. We all know that once you start taking apart a 30 year old home, you will find surprises that can be stressful. The beauty of this contractor is that he never painted a grim picture and always provided a solution that was detailed, made sense and offered me the security that any underlying issues would be fixed. His on-site project manager came with skills to address my vision. Dobson took control of the site and brought great ideas based on the current state of my home and his vast experience and commitment to customer satisfaction. Mid-stream into the project, we decided that a frame around a window was not exactly how we had pictured it. This was after the siding had been completed on that side of the house however, even though there was going to be a fair amount of work to remove the siding and frame the window the way we wanted it, Dobson did not hesitate to accommodate our vision. Each day the work area was cleaned and safe enough to let my dog and family enjoy the front and backyards. The end result of his efforts are nothing less than stellar! Duane Mainardi Builders transformed my home into a structure that you would think was built no more than a year or two ago and is by far now one of the best looking homes in our development. "Trenton Roofing is simply an amazing company from start to finish. 1.5 years ago I did a roofing project with them and Brian the technical sales rep did not do the typical U.S. sales approach by sitting together and putting pressure on you to make an immediate decision. He even did his measurements while I was absent and just sent me over a quote which I directly accepted and the work was again done while I was on vacation. Totally great job and everything was handled with car. At that time I also asked for an estimate for new gutters but I wanted to have them replaced AFTER the solar panels have been installed again and this year I wanted to get it done.I used the old quote, placed the order, got confirmed but - and now the best - within the 72 hours cancellation period I decided different and I just met Brian without any hard feeling from his side we cancelled the job and my down payment was immediately reimbursed! "You can get better and pay less! The quality of work performed was low. There was no QC to speak of and showing up to work on my house was optional with no notice or call that they would not be onsite. Complaints to Matt the owner, went unanswered. He passed it off to his brother Dan who would sidestep the question or tell me his carpenter Tim was responsible for watching over the workers. Tim was only interested in what was in front of him and couldn't be bothered to keep an eye on anyone else. There were tiles in the bath that were to remain ^3 year old tile is impossible to find replacement) that were broken twice! Neither time did anyone bother to let me know what happened. When I confronted Matt or especially Dan about it there was no accountability. I got the "S**t Happens" defense. I was left to find a fix and another contractor to remediate their damage. The stucco put on to cover a vent duct that was replaced had cracks after it dried as well as being mismatched to the existing. The drywall spackle was also a sore point as there were waves, bubbled tape, holes and lumps that were not sanded out. Even after three coats of paint Dan had the nerve to tell me that "sometimes these things don't show up right away. Even trying to get them to complete the work I could not get Dan or Tim to go through with me to identify problems. When I made up a list it was not completed...3 times! But I heard the crying from Matt that he sent his guys back 3 times to finish. Dan had told me that they would go through and do a thorough cleaning when done but I spent a Sunday with a broom and vacuum cleaner to get the dust and debris out of the floor boards shelves and woodwork before the carpets were installed. So much for Squeeky Clean."

"We were very happy with the service from Andrew and AB Graham contracting. Andrew is extremely responsive and reliable. On the day Andrew was to come over our house to give an estimate, there was a big snowstorm and we did not expect him to come that evening. But he came and reviewed what was needed to be done and he explained in great detail the options and the pluses and minuses for each option, despite the trouble he had to get to our home in the snow. We felt very comfortable with him. He made excellent suggestions which made sense and were cost-effective. Andrew and his co-workers did a fantastic job, which included painting and re-flooring the laundry room and putting up new dry wall in the garage. We were also impressed by the following facts: eg, Andrew had fixed some "extra" small problems that he discovered during his contracted repair work; in addition, he tried to use the best material for the work within the price range.
