"I contacted Hastings and Sons. Mason came out and I showed him what I wanted done, which was to have an existing old patio slab removed and a new one extended out, along with a front sidewalk from the driveway to the porch. He explained everything to me in detail. He was very nice, and knowledgeable. His crew came out on a Saturday and started removing the old concrete slab. Their digger broke so they had to go get parts to fix it. They returned on Monday and finished. Mason came out and inspected their work. I was very pleased with the work they did! The patio and sidewalk look great!!! I’ve gotten so many compliments on it. The first time we had a heavy rain I noticed in one area of the patio water was pooling and running towards the basement window and foundation. I sent Mason a txt with pictures. He promptly came out and looked at it. The next day the head crew guy came out and said they would wait until the rest of the concrete properly cured then they would scrape that one section and redo it. I’m very pleased with this company and the work they do. I would recommend them to family and friends. As a matter of fact I’ve already told one of my friends about them. DAM Concrete is a new company, built off of 10+ years in the trade. I started with my families company in Toledo, OH and then I joined Local 886 as an apprentice and in 4 years I became a Foreman. I decided to move down the Columbus 3 years ago working as a supervisor for a company. I've been on all sorts of projects from residential driveways and stamped patios, to commercial warehouses and apartment building to just name a few. I've always had the goal to own my own company one day, and I'm starting to live that dream.
