Customers say: Quality work

"We are very happy with our new roof. Wallace lHome Improvement lived up to everything in their advertisements. The job was completed in around 8 plus hours. The grounds were protected, no debris left anywhere. The roof looks great. It was an amazing experience from start to finish, flawless. We would definitely recommend Dave and his company to anyone. Thank you Wallace Home Improvement."

"We hired B's because he said he had a lifetime of experience doing kitchen renovations. He appeared to be knowledgable. But then he kept pulling his 'project lead' from our kitchen/bathroom renovation for other jobs and did not prioritize us. The plumber left uncompleted work after paying thousands of dollars. B purchased expensive equipment from our second payment instead of putting our money toward the project, which resulted in him not being fiscally capable of completing the work. What was supposed to be a 3-4 week renovation in May became multiple months and unsatisfactory result. He then asked for final payment before completion, threatened to sue, and acted unprofessionally when we put our foot down. He also charged a very expensive price compared to other contractors in the area. Photos show the state of the project when final payment was asked for."

"It went terribly. The contractor hired a subcontractor but claimed that they were his crew. The work that was performed by the subcontractor was terrible. The J channel was installed improperly and damaged. When they started installing the siding, they damaged it. Four existing windows were damaged and needed to be replaced due to structural damage. When we reached out to the contractor, he offered to fix it, but it was a band-aid fix. The contractor then provided a Certificate of Liability for the subcontractor and told us not to mention his name or company to the insurance company and to tell the insurance company that we had hired the subcontractor ourselves. It takes a year to get a settlement from subcontractor insurance. We are writing about this so that it may save someone else from suffering this problem or loss. We had provided all materials, and the contract was for labor."

"While we hired AllAmerican construction to deal with a gutter issue, which they accomplished by adding a downspout and sealing an end cap, the reason we are giving them 5 stars is that they did a free inspection of of the roof and all things protruding from it. They took pictures of problems they found including openings around 2 standpipes and flashing problems around the chimney. Two days after that first meeting they returned with all the parts and equipment necessary to do the gutter work, replace the standpipes where they exit the roof, and do the flashing replacement/repairs. They also took further pictures of the chimney showing us areas where water has gotten into the chimney structure. We are currently in talks with them about taking the chimney down to the roof line and rebuilding it to fix these problems. We have been very pleased with all three people we’ve been working with-Erica, Jonnathan, and Edison."

FAQs for metal roofing repair projects in Limington, ME

Maintaining your soffit is essential. You must inspect it twice yearly to catch any clear signs of deterioration. Look for cracks, mold, rotted wood, sagging sections, chipped paint, or missing boards. If these issues are detected, contact a professional immediately to repair or replace the damaged soffit and protect your home’s structural integrity.

To maintain your fascia boards and soffits, inspect them regularly to protect your roof and home's structure. Clean your gutters to remove debris and prevent moisture buildup. Repaint any damaged sections to keep moisture at bay. Upgrading drip edges and vents improves airflow and dispels moisture efficiently, helping you avoid severe damage and costly repairs.

While installing a new soffit over an existing soffit isn't common, it may be necessary in some older homes. If removing the original soffit could damage delicate structures, a professional might recommend installing the new soffit without complete removal. Always consult a qualified professional to assess the condition and ensure this method is safe and effective.

When hiring someone for soffit and fascia repair, choose a specialist with proven roofing and gutter systems expertise. A knowledgeable contractor will thoroughly inspect your home and provide a straightforward repair or replacement plan. Check online reviews and ask for references to ensure you receive high-quality service that delivers lasting results and strong protection for your home.
