"If you need any painting done, please hire Kendall at Do It Right Painting. He is so professional and detail oriented. He’s also extremely kind and polite. He is thorough and did an excellent job on my bathroom as he had to take off wallpaper that was hung with spray on glue! Then he sanded prepped, primed and painted. He did a fantastic job and I’ll use his services from here on out for any painting needs. "

"Danny and his crew have an exceptional job. They've been on time every day, and they water no time getting to the tasks at hand. Our new color looks great! Danny has been very responsive to answering the questions I have had about the process as they have popped up from time to time."

"Eddie was so patient and helpful. I knew I wanted my room to have a burgundy accent wall and some shade of pink, well I first picked out 3 shades of pink, he brought the samples over, I didn't like them, he suggested 2 other shades of pink , which he brought over samples of, after looking at them I called and said I think I want to look at 2 shades of grey instead. Eddie brought them right over and I went with the grey in the room and a pink in the onswuit. He talked me through my decisions always responded promptly to my text and completed the job in a timely manner with a smile. I will use him again."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Lincoln, CA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
