"This job was to remove textured paint from the ceilings in 3 rooms, approx. 750 square feet. The crew showed up promptly, and took time to prep the entire work area. The job was ~3 days' work, including re-painting the ceilings. After completion, I noticed some missed spots, likely due to lighting in the house. The company promptly fixed the issues I pointed out, and I'm satisfied with the results. Would definitely hire again."

"Rob and his assistant Chad are just awesome. Polite, timely, helpful. Cannot say enough good about them and the work they do. The only down time for them is their lunch break. They come ready to work. They pay attention to the smallest details, even if I haven't thought of them. My only regret is that I did not find them sooner!!!!! Debbie E"

Small jobs welcome

"Gary Sakin did a wonderful job with our bathroom remodel. It's been 9 months since the job was completed and we've had no issues. The team he had working with him were personable and good at what they did. The tile guy was precise and took extreme care to do the job perfectly. Gary checked up multiple times after the job to make sure everything was good. We will use Sakin for future projects..."

"When she did my house, I was there. She worked from 7 am to 7 pm, doing 10-11 hours days. She knew what she was doing, was very careful during the painting on both my house and my sisters. Helped us pick colors that worked for us. When she worked on my sisters home, she was not home but her neighbors were, and they told my sister that even they noticed how hard Kenna worked! Very professional and great at her job. I would recommend them!"

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Lincoln, NH

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
