The tucking pointing was done in a professional manner but they did not use the color mortar that match the house. If you have a project that just needs tucking pointing I would recommend this company."

"I called quite a few masons for this work and estimates were all across the board. Found that most do not offer warranties or work with the sealant manufacturer to do preliminary tests to ensure their product will work. JC was one that did both. Their price was one of the higher ones that we received but we decided it was worth it due to the warranty they would issue. Both Greg and Jake are great, very responsive and accountable for their work. I can’t say that everything went great. There were some issues, delays, and rework but that was primarily attributed to poor workmanship of one of their employees. Once I brought that to their attention, they worked to correct it. They could have as easily made it really difficult for us to finish the job properly and not taken responsibility. The project could have gone more smoothly if that employee was not assigned but in reality no home project is perfect and a contractor that works to correct issues and make it right is hard to find."

"Mike and his crew did a superb job. Mike responded to my request for quote within an hour. The job was very small but his price was fair so I hired him. He communicated very well. Mike's crew replace three bricks in the outside wall of our 80+ year old Chicago bungalow to close up the hole left by a dryer vent we removed. "I had some major work done on my house this year and I went back to someone I trusted: Eddie, Manny and Mike from E&B Masonry. They did a porch project for me in 2018 and it was great. I used them again. They gave me a good price, but I also knew that they would get the job done right. They included me on each decision and checked with me through out the project. I had roofing repairs on my parapet wall where the previous owner had roofed over the limestone causing water building up. During this they found damaged bricks. They took pictures and video to show me what they needed to do. Then they did work on the outside wall where someone else I hired failed to do the tuckpointing. Finally, they installed all new concrete sidewalks from front to back and side to side. This included stairs going down to the basement. They had to pitch the concrete in creative ways and added a new drain to handle additional water. It looks fantastic. I am hiring them to do some additional jobs as well."
