"Was very happy with the work done by Kurt and his team. Our house is located on a large hill so this was not an easy job to remove the dirt and debris for existing retaining wall down two flights of stairs via wheelbarrow, and bringing the bricks for the new retaining wall up the hill. They were polite and professional, and left the area looking great and clean. They tore up the front yard a little bit where the wheelbarrow down the hill in the front yard, but it was probably unavoidable and they made sure to plant some new grass in those areas and it is growing back quickly. We are very happy with our new retaining wall. Would certainly use Kurt and his team again."

"We contacted Northern Virginia Landscaping shortly after my family moved into our new home in Alexandria. We wanted to be able to use the outdoor space for our kids to run around, but there was a big problem, there was eroding retaining walls, re-bar sticking up from cinder blocks, old bricks, and the land sloped a significant amount to limit functionality of a play area. They were able to completely change our backyard from a plain old DC yard with a less than ideal deck, into an oasis in NE DC. They were able to take my original plans for our yard and create a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the DC work life and stay within budget while still adding in the little extras we came up with in the last few days. The value of the work done will add 2 times the amount spent on the project once we decide to sell and move on form this house. But that will be tough to do now that we have the backyard of our dreams. I would highly recommend East Coast Landscaping for any work you are considering getting done to your house.
