"Charlie’s was great when I got him. But since I called him and left messages and never received a call back so I don't even know if they're still in business or not. He did a nice job, nice fair price. So I tried to re-contact him when I had plumbing issues and I haven't heard from him not yet. I would use him again if I could catch him. Yeah if he'd answer the phone yeah sure I'd use him again. He was great. Oh I don't remember how long it took, so other than that I don't know how long it took him."

"Mattco has been performing repairs and regular plumbing maintenance at my 116 year old Chicago 2-flat for many years. Over time with experience I have gained trust in Mattco Plumbing to get me out of big jams with the plumbing in this old building. Just recently Matt repaired the 2nd floor toilet drain line in the ceiling above my 1st floor bathroom in a very tight spot. "Week before last we thought we had a clogged toilet.. It was apparently the main sewer line. We called a commercial franchise plumber out and $550 later we thought everything was fixed. This was on a Thursday. By the following Monday we were experiencing the same thing. We call them back out because it was a 6 month warranty. They diagnosed the issue stating we needed to get the main sewer line ( about 1-3 feet) replaced and they would need to dig a huge hole in the basement and etc.. Estimate was more than a small car. I called around to a few other companies and got more expensive quotes. I called A1 Patrick's Plumbing & Sewer Services - Plumbing Contractor & Plumbing Installation and he came out the same night ( last tuesday) and gave me a resonable quote for the same services. When I tell you I am so glad I called this man. My house is 70 years old and my family has lived here for 26 years. This sewer line was CLOGGED... his team dug the hole, replaced the pipes, cleaned them out and discovered tree roots and 4 feet of stuff that shall not be named. He & his team installed a cleanout in case this happened again we wouldn't have an issue getting it cleaned. This company hands down had excellent service and the owner was respectful, nice and delivered what he promised plus a 10 year warranty ."

They installed a Navien tankless water heater (which seems to be the standard in the industry as all three other companies quoted the same) with an 11.5 gpm water flow rate for THOUSANDS less than we were quoted by others. "Office was very responsive, friendly, & professional in setting up the appointment. A team of two workers showed up on time, explained the task and how they'd perform it, and then set about doing it. They recommended additional work, explaining it clearly; I deferred on the additional work for now as I'm not sure it's absolutely necessary to perform it. My only complaint is that there was a permit fee that was charged for performing the work in the City of Chicago. In fairness, I was told of the fee when I booked the company's services, but if A+ Router works routinely in the City, I now question why this fee is the homeowner's responsiblity."
