I heard some famliar clanking from above and went up to say that it hadn't occurred to me to check the tub stopper (it's an internal one so not visible to the eye). That's all it was! (silly me) He did some snaking anyway as it hadn't been done in a long time.  <br /> He also gave me some advice about code requirements not met by such an old faucet system. Good to know. <br /> So I guess I'm not really assessing his competency because nothing was REALLY wrong but he was good about it and explained a few other things. <br />"
