"Absolutely the worst decision of my life having these guys remodel my house. Not only did I have to source the materials on my own time for them they didnâ  t even finish the last of the work. My basement was the sole reason for starting the remodel from all the water, still leaks water just as bad as before they came. My plumbing is backed up and they cost us $2500 extra to have it professionally installed which they lied to us about. Then after I leave a honest review on a job over $100k I get a bunch of people talking bad about me, blocked and etc. (has contacted me one time after the whole thing was finished) the guy canâ  t even plan a remodel on a house but can take 3 vacations on the job and get two new dirtbikes from it all. Never do business with Holbert."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Litchfield, IL

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
