"Complicated job to install a ADA ramp, but they coordinated well with architect and township building department to get a thoroughly appropriate design. Work was done efficiently and safely. James and Joe arrived when they said they would, worked some long days, always left the property clean and uncluttered and was friendly and pleasant to work with. "We are very pleased. We interviewed a number of security companies and received proposals including DIY to the big national and regional companies. I was not satisfied with any of the companies until I learned of 1stSecurity. Their pricing was good, both for the monthly fee ($40) and for the cost of the equipment. The manager, Jeremy, was very open and straightforward. The installer was also excellent. We asked them to install system prior to a trip we were taking in a few days and they met this short timeframe. The installation took 1-2 hours. The equipment we purchased was fairly extensive as we have a fairly large house and we wanted comprehensive coverage. This included 2 glass break sensors, a motion detector, and numerous door and window switches as well as a fire detection monitor. I accidentally set off the alarm and received a call from the monitoring company in under 10 seconds. The control panel for the system is an easy to use touch screen device, similar to an iPad. The system is very capable so you can connect smart devices to it if so inclined. We have been very pleased with the product and service so far (about 2 months)."

"Workers arrived on time as scheduled. We had a little snafu with the building rules; my building requires that the hallway from the elevator to the apartment door be covered with masonite.  They were not prepared for this, and providing this service cost an additional $275.  So if anyone else is doing this in manhattan, I recommend you check with your building codes and make sure everything is worked out ahead of time so that there are no surprise extra costs.
The guys were very courteous and efficient.  The floors look beautiful, and there is minimal dust.  Overall, I am quite happy.  I would recommend them.

"We had a 30-year old Kohler whirlpool bathtub in our master bathroom with a leak that wouldn't stop and messed up the ceiling in our kitchen. Our plumber informed us that, because of the age of the tub, parts were unavailable. We wound up having to remove the tub, but doing so required that we would have to remove the tile around the tub, remove the floor tile, etc. In short, we had to gut the whole bathroom. We had used Ultimate Home Services, owned by Rick Weber, for several prior projects, but for the sake of due diligence we got other estimates as well. Rick came in the middle, but we were not really comfortable with the company with the lowest estimate. We had such good results in the past that we decided to go with Rick. In reality, we knew from the start that we would use Rick. He used primarily one worker for this job, who was excellent. He used other workers on prior jobs. They completely gutted the bathroom. He had previously formed a working relationship with our plumber, who suggested some major changes in the configuration of the plumbing. They worked closely together, and it turned out great. They were able to open up a shower area that had been enclosed except for a door into a glassed-in area with a much more open feeling. The bathroom has new sheetrock and cement-board, as appropriate, new tile, paint and fixtures. The ceiling in the kitchen was repaired. We are extremely pleased with the way it all turned out. In prior years, Rick renovated a powder room and a laundry room for us, and completely renovated our basement. We have always been pleased with his work and the results. He is always on top of the job and responds quickly to questions and suggestions. He supervises the work closely but is still respectful to his workers. On all the jobs he has done for us, we have raised questions about possible choices we may have, and Rick has always given good guidance. We are very happy with our new bathroom."
