"Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

"My pressure treated deck needed replacement. I got 3 bids which I was considering but was told by a friend to check out Remodel or Renew. Mike Christopher, the Owner, came and asked me what was the main thing I was concerned about. I told him that I was looking for quality workmanship with top of the line Trex composite wood that wouldnâ  t require a lot of maintenance. He sat down with his IPad and designed exactly what I wanted. The design he made was like an actual picture of the finished product and the price was great which included the removal and disposal of the former deck. This is the first time Iâ  ve EVER reviewed a business that has done work on our home. They deserve it! First, their builders worked long hours and I observed them as they made sure every step was done with precise measurements and the finished product showed just what I observed. Unbelievably sturdy, they didnâ  t cut corners to save time and it was absolutely beautiful. Also what I consider a huge factor is the Warranties on the work and material. A 25 year Warranty that covers scratching and fading of the Trex flooring and railings. UNBELIEVABLE! Lastly, they left the work area cleaner than before they started and Mike the Owner answered my calls or texts every time I had a question either immediately or responded within 15 minutes. All I can say about Remodel or Renew is if you give them a chance to bid on your project you will be happy and even happier if you hire them and see for yourself what I have just told you! "I really love the Golden Group. We had them replace our asphalt roof on our house. We had gotten bids from five companies and Golden Group just stood out to me as a company driven by honesty and integrity. We had planned on the roof replacement happening on Wednesday last week - but had a family emergency. The guys showed up at 7 am and started getting setup (right on time), my wife talked with them and they packed up gave me the number for Freddy and said for us to call and they'd return within 48 hours. They even sent flowers expressing their concern for our family emergency. We called Monday they came back Wednesday just like they said. They showed up right after 7 am and got started setting up and worked hard all day. Everything they did was clearly described and they did exactly what they said they would. Not a single surprise. They explained everything all day long - as the project progressed - they showed what was going on and what was happening next. Each step obvious and easy to understand. We ended up having eleven new pieces of plywood - not a surprise. We knew the old roof needed replacing and that just showed it really needed fixing even worse than we imagined. No other problems came up which was good to hear. Clean up, they used an industrial magnet over our yard three times to get up any stray nails. All the old asphalt shingles and anything else - nice and neatly cleaned up. Like other folks have said The Golden Group did an excellent job, very professional very nice folks. I really couldn't ask for any better they did an absolutely wonderful job for us."

"Team was very responsive with communications and always arrived on time. Everything was explained carefully and when surprise problems came up they checked in before doing anything to consult. Roof looks very good and you could tell that the team was working hard and doing it right. Project took 2.5 days. Replaced some of the plywood in the roof that was damaged. Some minor damage to the house occurred (porch light broken) and they fixed before project was done. UHE has good financing options if you need them."
