We contacted four vendors (two of whom we had used before).  Our install was a bit tricky, and some companies would not even quote the job.  Mike was the most responsive, and gave us the most options.  I researched third party reviews on the product lines he proposed.  All seemed to have good reviews.  This is really hard to find in either windows or sliding doors!  During the sales process he was informative and presented several options, but absolutely no high pressure.  So easy and pleasant to work with. The installer was very professional and really knew what he was doing.

Wes did the siding/gutters on our house a couple of years ago through another company and did a fantastic job.  We had some winter damage that needed repairs and looked up Wes' information .  He did a great job in 2012 and continues to carry on with his high quality of work and work ethics.  He immediately handled all repairs and did not even charge us!

"The entire experience went very well. Dennis Knoph responded quickly to my request for an estimate -- spending a lot time listening to my requests (like fixing holes in aluminum siding as part of prep) and addressing my concerns (like covering my roof solar panels to make sure no paint spray drifted on to them). He adjusted the written email quote a couple of times in response to other items (like no power washing in a breezeway). Unlike other companies that either wouldn't do the work or were hesitant about the outcome (like repairing holes in the siding), MHI was confident that they had the experience to do the work and could tell me what to expect. MHI did not disappoint. I also like the fact that MHI quoted an all-inclusive cost -- no unknown add-ons for paint, other materials, etc. MHI assign Bill and his crew to do the job. "GoTo Roofing did a major siding project on my 19th century house in the late summer of 2023. This place has a long history and thus many issues that needed to be fixed prior to placing siding. GoTo Roofing did a fantastic job in all aspects!! From the initial meeting with Alden (one of their project assessors) to the day to day work with Mickey and his team I couldn't be happier. My project was more complicated that most and took a few weeks due to the amount of repair work needed. Mickey and his crew kept me up to date every day with what was going on and status. Every night before the crew left they packed up their tools and materials and made sure the areas were clear of debris!! "I've had Rick out to my house twice to quote me for siding. I have found him to be very honest and have the most intregrity of the 3-4 for siding contractors that have come out to quote me. The first time he came out he recommended I find a handyman to repair my existing siding. He was of the opinion that we could buy ourselves a few more years with the repair work of a good handyman and then re-side down the road. I planned on taking advice until we found mold and my wife became concerned that there was mold behind out siding. I asked RIcked to come back out and quote me for vinyl siding, gutters, and aluminum trim. He gave me the best quote of any other siding contractor. He also really made me feel like I could trust the work and quality of A-1. We are still undecided if we will reside this year or a few years down the road but when we do we will almost certainly go with A-1 Roofing and Siding"
