"I’m not a part of, nor do I know anyone prior to meeting Mr. Roman Shklyar at Sunset Roofing LLC. Let me say this: I never take the time to write reviews, but I’m compelled to write this: #1. Absolutely, hands down number one in customer service! Roman’s communication, and follow through is superb! What a pleasure it was dealing with him on my roofing project! I didn’t meet his crew, but they all did a great job on the roof! #2 Roman was very knowledgeable, courteous, and straight forward. I was under promised and over delivered! He quoted me three weeks and the job was completed in less than two weeks from our initial meeting! Yes they had a time slot open up, good weather was a factor I’m sure, but he called me and said “we can come and do the roof earlier than quoted is that ok ?” #3 No surprises! I was quoted and billed the same dollar amount! They did a complete tear off, installed a new roof on my home and also replaced a missing piece of fascia. "The Reid's are great people to work with. They arrived bright and early on the day expexted AND returned the next day to finish the job. Jason replaced an existing step and repaired the corner of the existing deck. He took care to try and solve a drainage issue which was part of the reason for our problem. The new step and railing will probably outlast the rest of the deck. He also designed a little flair into the step for visual interest. He had his crew vaccuum the grass around the worksite for excess sawdust and wood scraps. They left my backyard as clean as before they arrived. They are a great family business who take pride in their work and are fun to work with. I can't wait to have another project for them. We've had several different projects in the past and had bad experiences with other contractors. It's refreshing to find good people to work with."

"It was a large roof ice jam, fortunately Trevor was a little early. It was a tough job but it was well done. He removed the ice and repaired the soffit that the ice damaged. Well done at a fair price. Would definitely recommend him to others."

"The initial call to this company was answered promptly and a representative came to give an estimate. The original proposal said that work would begin the week of July 13. On July 28th, a crew swarmed my home. They placed plastic tarps over my boxwood hedges, which, by the end of the hot day, burned the tops and turned them totally brown. They also broke the top off of my favorite vintage Chicago Peace rose bush, which has bloomed in front of my house for years before I bought it in 1999. They left in their wake my gutters, haphazardly reattached, leaking, filled with water and discarded water bottles, nails and asphalt debris from the old roof. In addition, they removed, without my authorization, a portion of gutter downspout that was routed through the gambrel roof and roofed over on the front while leaving a hole in the back. Since they left, I have had to pick up bags of lunch garbage and water bottles left on both my neighbor's and my property and in the street, as well as chicken wing bones, cheese, cigarette packs and butts, nails, large chunks of old asphalt singles and other debris. Our contract stated that a new gutter would be placed on our garage, but that did not happen until August 8th, after several phone calls. At that time, the gutters on the house were supposedly cleaned, repaired and reattached. I asked the contractor that day to please replace the downspout that was removed and covered over and was told with a wink that "I've been doing this for 30 years" and that my husband had told him it was OK to do what he did. My husband has subsequently told me that he did not give his authorization to do so. I asked the contractor that he at least cover the hole left on the back side of the gambrel roof so that animals and insects could not get in there and he said that he would do it, but he didn't. I can only imply that he said that to appease "the little woman," not knowing that "the little woman" was the one who wrote the check. You can be certain that "the little woman" will not be writing a check to this company in the foreseeable future. As a postscript, I owned a small cottage on Seneca Lake which needed a new roof. I called this company for help and was told that someone would come to give me a quote, but it never happened. Guess it wasn't a big enough job to bother with."

Both of them were excellent, one of them being more labor intensive than was planned Our home was under construction from being raised due to flooding and Matts suggested timing for the roof install was on point, saving us more work and money.
