"Excellent work. We purchased natural cherry cabinets in shaker style, with the panels made of solid wood rather than veneer. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"When American Jewel installed the door I gave them A grades as I thought they did an excellent job.  But after using the door for a few weeks I noticed the dead bolt didn't close completely, but only about 2/3, and also noticed the screen door was no longer aligned properly, so although it closed and looked right, the door was slightly off and it would no longer lock.  I called American Jewel and they scheduled the installer to return and make the minor corrections.  The installer did not show up.  When I called American Jewel again, they did not return my calls. I complained to Angie's List, and via their complaint resolution process American Jewel contacted me.  They were very apologetic and attributed it to a mix up, accepted responsibility and sent the installer to my home to make the minor corrections.  I would use American Jewel again, despite this hiccup, as my wife and I like the door they installed, feel we received excellent value, and ultimately American Jewel followed through on the minor problems I described and corrected them all."

"Replaced windows and sliding doors"

"After I had a walk through with a new installer, Brad, my experience was great. Brad is very knowledgeable, patient, professional and exhibited a warm and outgoing personality! He great to talk to and took the time to show me and my husband how to operate our new windows. Our satisfaction was guaranteed and Brad made sure of it. Brad also installed a new front door with a storm door as well. Awesome! I love the color and the look of both. My family which includes my daughter, sister, nieces and cousins say, my house looks like a whole new one! What difference new windows, doors and new flooring makes! I'm so proud of the work that was done and I'm glad I met Brad who did a job, well done! So, I thank installamerica for their business and for Brad being on the team."

"Great,a year later i needed a door to be installed, gave them $180 down, had a Balance of about $4,000 to owe,ran in some serious broiler problems,$2,800 worth, couldn't get the door,I called them bout the $180,they said there was no refund,so I was out that money,my Windows cost me $13,000 dollors,it's disappointing they could refund my $180."

"Bob Kyle and his men did the job quickly and professionally. We enjoyed working with him so much that we have hired him to rebuild a masonry wall, install a fence and build a deck."

"Very well, timely service with high quality door and installation team. Several opportunities for questions and to inspect work. Provided paint for the door if we scratch or Knick the door."

"I was referred to Alpine Contracting. I was looking for someone to do some carpet seaming for carpet that I installed for an older home I was remodeling. Even though I did not buy the carpet from Alpine, the owner was very quick to arrange for the work I needed to be done by the installer he uses. I would definitely recommend Alpine and choose them myself for any future remodeling work simply because they were so willing to offer assistance to me, even though there was no profit in it for them. I appreciated their assistance very much."
