"I have been dreaming of landscape upgrade for some time now and had the funds available to complete the project this year.  I won a free landscape design at the Home and Landscape show at Cal Expo in January and after working with the designer I got completed blueprints for the design in Feb. '14.  I contacted several contractors for bids on the project including 3 contractors that I found on Angie's List.  I was very impressed by the reviews received by Salvador Murillo but also read comments that his availability might be limited due to his popularity.  I received 3 bids on the work from other contractors and was then contacted by Sal.  He showed up at my house at appointment time and took copy of blueprints and told me he would call later with his bid.  4 of the contractor's bids came in within $2000 from lowest to highest.   I was completely surprised when Sal called, a week after our meeting, and gave his bid, it was $7000 under lowest bid.
     From the first day the work began Sal made himself available to me for questions or any concerns that I might have and made me feel that his goal was my satisfaction with the work.  I remember what Sal said to me at the beginning of this project; he said, "I (Sal) have to be happy and you (me) have to happy with the work."  Sal's and his crew were punctual, professional, courteous and friendly.  Sal made suggestions for additions to the design which I approved and then I gave him "free range" to make changes that he thought would improve the project.  During the initial design process in Feb. I had envisioned a rock fountain in a pond as a center piece to the project and though it was drawn into the blueprints, there was only dimensions for the size and location of the pond and no detail into the actual design of the fountain.  Sal followed the dimensions and used his expertise for the design.  I could not be happier with the way the fountain looked at completion.  Even before the rest of the project was finished, I was getting compliments on the fountain from neighbors and people walking by the house.  
     I cannot say enough about the positive experience it was to have Salvador Murillo Landscape complete this project and believe me when I tell you it's well worth the wait for his availability.  And because of the cost saving and extra money in my budget and before the project was completed, I had Sal put me on the "work board" for scheduling the landscaping of the back yard.
