"My wife and I searched Google, Yelp and Aggie List for the prospective roofing companies to assess our aging roof and to propose the right actions to repair the water damages, which we could see occurred at the corners of our roof. Instead of asking up for 6 companies for this job, as indicated by other reviews, we nailed it down to 2 companies only after extensive search. These 2 companies all have very good reviews to start with, and they came to look at our roof promptly and both came to the same conclusion that we needed a complete re-roofing. The project would replace the water-proofing felt layer and any broken tiles. Any water damaged or termite infested wood should be replaced also at pre-determined per foot price per category. These 2 companies bid were a little different. But ‘Above It All Roofing’ has a 10-year warranty, which my wife cares a lot. Then the sale person Dave made a big difference in the decision making. He was courteous and honest. We felt that could trust him. He worked hard to get our project and came to our house 2 times before we finally signed the contract with ‘Above It All Roofing’. Our project then was scheduled to start. The owner of the other company happened to know the owner of ‘Above It All Roofing’, Mike. Even after we notified him that we would go with ‘Above It All Roofing’, he still gave us good reference and blessing. So we felt good choosing the right company for our roof project. There were 5 people worked on our roof. They were nice and friendly, cleaned all debris at the end of the day before they left. Everything went smoothly. We were surprised that there was more wood damage than was expected earlier. Dave came here every day and showed us the damaged wood after it was replaced. We are happy with the work done and believe that an excellent review is what the company, their workers, and Dave deserve."

Ben came out for a quote quickly and provided a step by step overview of how the permit and repair process would go in phases. Pricing was reasonable with a breakdown of items in material and labor.His foreman and workers did a fabulous clean job of fixing the roof. Workmanship and finishing was superb. He recommended double paper as an industry standard instead of the peel and stick that we were thinking. "Sept. 2024. We own a single story 2150 square feet home in Yorbe Linda. The spanisch tile roof is now 35 years old and it was leaking in one spot. ,We decided to replace all the underlying tar paper for the whole roof. We got four estimates, One was very close to California Roof experts, and two's costs 20% more. California Roof experts was the only company that offered a 20-year warranty on their work. They use a new superstrong woven silicone roofing paper to give this guarantee. Plus they were the only one that would reset the tiles on commercial wood strips to hold the tile in place. The wood strips have 3/8" thick rubber pads that will the water, if any, to allow to run under the strips. They did reuse the sheet metal that is places at the low point of two sided (gulley). I was skeptical of the sheet metals condition and I had Arthuro bring the sheet metal down for inspection and they showed no rust spots. I did however have Arthuro hammer flat some protruding sheet metal spots where the previous nails were so as not to cut the thin woven silicone paper. Also, we insisted on using city inspection, for which we paid, $330, Once the roofers started, they had always a full crew on the job, and we never had to call them up or prod them. Each evening, they cleaned up around the house before the left. There was no request for additional tiles, cement or any other item. Once the job was completed, it passed city inspection the first time. We are very satisfied with the company, their management, and their workers. Gunter H. Sanders"

"I have signed a contract with them; they told me a tentative date (when I spoke to Bill Jordan) for around the end of November, and I received a contract in the mail from them requesting a signature. They told me they have to have a contract before they can put us on the schedule, so we signed the contract and faxed it back to them and have found out that the date has been pushed back to the end of December. I signed the contract initially and sent the contract in and asked for an approximate date, and he initially told me they were scheduling us towards the end of November. We faxed our copy back in so we could be put on the schedule, and mailed a hard copy as well. I asked for a signed copy of the contract with a representative signature, but again it didn?t have the approximate dates on the contract and so we asked for it again and received another contract with some additional wording that had the approximate dates but said ?weather permitting?. Now I have a copy with the dates and additional wording that wasn?t on the contract we signed, and I would just like to get the work done closer to the dates Bill said, rather than December 28th. We?re worried about this because of a potential weather situation with El Nino, as we have an old roof and we?re both retired seniors. It?s a small house and a relatively small contract and we would like to have them work on getting us in there earlier, closer to the end of November or earlier if possible. We do understand that these are approximate dates, but the first date Bill mentioned is around the end of November and we would like to see it closer to then or even earlier if they can fit us in."

I also requested maintenance to my tile roof which included replacing broken tile and resealing around skylights, chimney and roof vents. Mark was prompt and provided a competitive quote.
