"Best part first: 2 items were lost in the move. One was a brand new pair of Bose headphones, that were set aside so I could wear on the plane the next day. The other was an Apple TV device. I called when I discovered the headphones were probably packed away by mistake, hoping we could identify the box they were put in so I could dig them out, and bring them on the trip. No luck, so I decided I would have to wait for the move back into our house. So about 3 months later we are now in our house, and neither headphones nor Apple TV device show up. I called the company and spoke to John and he said he would investigate. A week or so goes by and I am pretty sure that I'll be out of luck, since the contract says claims must be made within 90 days, and the insurance on items moved is $.60 per pound, which means I might be reimbursed about $3. Lo and behold John calls and tells me they are going to reimburse me for the full value of the two items lost, over $500. The total move cost a little more than $700. I was elated. This is unheard of customer service. As far as the move is concerned, the three men were courteous, careful and efficient. We were not completely packed, so they helped complete that. There were some items that needed to go in my truck so they could stay with us and the other items in their truck to be brought to storage. They did an exceptional job with all of it. We would definitely hire again"

"We had a great experience with NorthStar Moving Company when we moved from Los Angeles to another city 90 miles away. Due to the COVID-19 situation, we got our estimate via a video call (which was our request). I was satisfied that we were getting a good price with a professional company. I had many calls with Ron prior to the call to discuss the details of the upcoming move and he was always very honest and fair with me. On the morning of the move, the 4 man team arrived on time, and they all wore masks which we had requested. The team leader, Emmanuel, was so accommodating and polite. "Recently moved from Los Angeles  to Orlando the 2 guys were punctual, polite and had amazing skill loading3 bedroom home, large kitchen dining family and formal lounge area. Lots of heavy statuary and on top of that they had to move a bedroom suite from the place we were moving to. No problems and also took furniture etc to out storage unit.
