They came a few days before the scheduled job to do a pre-walk through to ensure they had everything they needed based on the scope of the job. Professional in how the finished product looks. No roll marks or streaking. Whether it’s the walls, baseboards or crown moulding; smooth finish. Honestly though, that isn’t what impressed me. That’s what I expect when I hire a professional painter. And I will say they did exceed those expectations because my job had a lot of detail and everything was consistent. Here’s what impressed me. 1. The level of care they all put into ensuring everyone on the job knew what the scope of the job was and did it right. Nothing was taken for granted. If they weren’t sure, they asked. 2. The level of care they put into fixing things that would have affected the quality of the work. I had some sagging ceiling drywall that was causing a crack. I didn’t know the build quality of the home was to blame. Instead of halting the job to get another trade in here to fix it, they did (an extra charge but well worth it). Equally impressive was how they fixed wall imperfections so the final product was smooth. Honestly, they used special lighting so they could find the imperfections! 3. The level of care they showed for each other. The entire crew was friendly with one another, was concerned for a co-worker who had been out sick, and were complimentary of one another’s work. When my wife saw their work, she said she is never going to paint again! I couldn’t agree more. If we need something else painted, I’m just going to call McLain’s!"
