"Docherty Roofing was the most impressive company to respond to my request for a roof replacement. They were the first company to show up and provide us an estimate. John was professional and very knowledgeable, not to mention efficient as a quote was provided on the spot. They also offered a competitive warranty. John is an excellent salesman but did not try to force me into selecting his company. I interviewed a few other companies over a 4 week span and Docherty roofing still remained the most impressive. I provided the deposit and shortly after, the dumpster was delivered and they began working on my roof. Johnâ s team was also wonderful at keeping me informed and cleaning up after the job was done. They even blew away the leaves in my yard! I waited a bit to write this review and so far I have not experienced any leaks from my roof. A+ experience. I would definitely hire John and his team againâ ¦ but hopefully I wonâ t need to!"

Our house is 101 years old brick home with a metal roof which is the original roof it needed some care to bring it to life again and we chose Black and it turned out beautiful I would highly recommend them and we will definitely have them do other work for us. "This was the second time that Dan Kirby worked on a paint job for me. Last year, he repainted the exterior of my house including re-glazing the windows. It was so well done that I think it helped to sell the house very quickly at a better than expected price. After I moved into my new residence, wallpaper needed to be removed from the kitchen and bath, including on the ceiling. Dan did an excellent job in the wallpaper removal and wall repair as well as the painting so that the walls look like new. Dan proved to once again be prompt in providing the estimate which was reasonable. As in the past, Dan was reliable in showing up on time every day, staying on schedule, and working diligently on the project. I am definitely planning on having Dan Kirby re-paint the rest of the house interior in the next few months. I highly recommend him for both exterior and interior jobs."

"The provider was very impersonal. Did not reply to request for quotes. Did not do the work when requested. Cannot confirm that the entire gutter system was cleaned until weather gets better and I am able to climb a ladder. Some of the down spouts are draining and some are not which leads me to believe that the down spouts were not cleared and i expected this to be a part of the gutter cleaning. Did not get a condition report for my gutters with recommendations. Very disappointed in this contractor.

UPDATE: Contractor contacted me and explained that he was not offering the   $99.00 special any longer and said that he was trying to get Angie's List to remove this special for their listings. He was having a difficult time in getting Angie's List to comply. Anyway he told me he would reimburse me my $99.00 and he sent me a check. I changed my ratings that I had originally given the contractor. He made everything for me right. I really appreciate this. I still marked him down on Responsiveness, Punctuality and Professionalism because of the delay it took for him to respond to my concerns. The Professionalism was marked down because of the first two."

"Had a leak in my roof, called weathertight exteriors and they came out the same day for a free estimate And ended up hiring them for the repair. They replaced the plywood and shingles at a reasonable price. I was really happy with their work and Wayne was very knowledgeable down to earth and professional. I would call him again."
