"Everything was top-notch from the first contact with Mr. Hamilton through the entire cleaning process. We were considering having new carpet installed but wanted to try having the carpet cleaned to see if it could be restored to a nearly new look. After using Act One, our carpet, which is over 5 years old and has gone through lots of kid and pet accidents, looks basically new. So much less expensive and time-consuming than buying new carpet. Additionally, Mr. Hamilton was pleasant to deal with throughout the process, was always prompt and courteous, and was flexible with scheduling. I would highly recommend calling Act One before you consider replacing carpet or rugs."

"The company had the flooring that I wanted in stock. They provided samples, pictures, and a lot of useful info to help me decide on the flooring and to help in talking to installers about how to best install and finish the flooring, though they did not refer me to any local installers. Once we decided on an installer and were ready to go, we had a fairly tight timeline, which we made clear. The purchase process was easy, but unfortunately our flooring was not picked up at the warehouse on schedule for two days running, and no one notified us -- I had to call the company and get my contact to look into what was happening with our order. They provided a couple of options, and fortunately my installer was able to pick up the flooring at a local terminal, instead of us loosing several days of acclimation time over a long holiday weekend when no deliveries would be made. A lot of calls and emails were exchanged, but they did stay on top of things this time and made sure we got our flooring. The flooring was beautiful, excellent quality and very dry so that the needed acclimation time was minimized. Our installer was very happy with the quality also and the floors look amazing. While the material was not inexpensive by any means, we feel that is was really worth the investment in our home, and would be surprised if anyone else would have supplied as high a quality product for a lower price. Moreover, though it did take some time on my part, basically acting as a GC, finding and hiring an installer, materials, and making sure the material got to us, based on an initial quote we got, we believe we saved at least 25% of the total project over contracting with a local installer to handle everything."

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"From the day we walked in the door, we were very pleased.  Elegante was kind enough to send us to their suppliers so we could see the large slabs or granite we needed to make selections from.  Once we made our decision, things happened in a very timely manner.  Slabs were delivered the next day, and fabrication began.  Templating was scheduled for two days later with install the following week.  Elegante uses the latest in technology and has a very experienced group of professionals assigned to each task.  The installers showed up on time and did a great job, cleaning up behind them selves as though they were never there.  During the install it turned out that one of our cabinets was 1/2 inch out of level.  We were unable to reset the cabinet, but Elegante was able to complete the install and make adjustments so that you would never know we had an issue.   They consulted with us at every step, offering up some excellent design ideas that we adopted.  They suggested edge treatments that we would not have considered that made the job perfect.  They went to great effort to make sure the sinks and faucet holes were located in locations that would be most beneficial.   Their work was flawless, their service exceptional, and their pricing very competitive.  We could not be more pleased with the final results of the job they did."

"Same as above- <br /> We really liked the people there, and enjoyed going through the slabs. The company was very patient with us as we took up a lot of their time. We only chose another company to do our work because I didn't like having the countertop's seam located at the middle of the sink, which, from our conversations with them, was the only option. If that's not an issue for you, I would recommend them just for their helpful nature and willingness to spend time with someone who they don't know will hire them. (I can't speak for their actual installation work.)"

"<p>Communication throughout the process was great. I like that I dealt with Randy, the owner the entire time. If I had any questions I could text him directly or email. He came out and measured my countertops and got a quote back to me quickly. He answered all my questions and communicated all changes. One thing that came up was the L shape in my counter where one end is very large and bulky and the other is narrow for the kitchen sink. They had to put a seam in to avoid having it break during installation and transit. I was a bit worried but I understood the issue. I didn't need to worry as 1st Class Countertops made sure to match the granite pattern at the seem, made the seem flat and narrow and placed it where it would be harder to see. You can't see the seam unless you're looking for it. </p> <p>As with anything in a home, there were issues that came up with how the builder installed my cabinets. The wall for the counter cantilever was actually too short. 1st Class Countertops took there time to resolve all the issues to make sure the countertops were installed solidly and so I wouldn't have issues later. They put in all the reinforcements I needed to ensure it would last. They hauled away all my old countertops and cleaned up when they were done. Randy and Alex did a great job and I couldn't be happier.</p> <p><br /></p> <br />"

In the end, we decided not to repair the countertop and sink but replace it entirely. as the previous owner installed it and it no longer fit our decor. Even though we didn't use them to make the repairs, we were very impressed with their customer service."
