He wasn’t “salesy” (especially compared to reps from places like Window Nation that used annoying pressure sales tactics). The options were straight-forward, and we liked the company history & products/labor warranties. The negative would be cost (on the higher end of estimates compared to others we received) but at the end of the day we went with the company we liked and decided to pay more for overall quality. It’s hard to know if we get up-charged for location (the same windows in a different county are probably a certain % cheaper) but that’s out of our control. "The technician showed up on time and proceeded to explain the process for installing the garage door opener.  The initial installation of the garage door went well.  However, upon the completion of the installation the technician proceeded to demonstrate the operation of the door when a malfunction of the garage opener occurred resulting in damage to my new garage door.  The technician immediately notified his supervisor who quickly acknowledged responsibility for this mishap.  I was informed as to the reliability of this particular garage door opener and this unfortunate incident had never occurred in the past. The company was extremely responsive in addressing this mishap and moved quickly to not only replace the motor of the garage door opener but also replaced the damaged garage door panels and rail.  In less than 24hrs I had a new garage door opener and replacement panels installed!  Kudos to Amber and her team for stepping up and get this resolved so quickly!!     I definitely recommend Stoneberger Garage Unlimited for all your garage door needs.

"I've used Academy multiple times over the years (garage door install) and have never been disappointing. Came out the next day after I called (would have come out that day but my schedule wasn't open) when it sounded like my motor was laboring- once the weather turned cold, it struggled to lift and stopped about halfway. Mario came out - he was great - didn't try to sell me anything like a new part or motor, but said I just needed to grease the trolley area and side tracks and spring (which he also tightened). Honest and gave me good advice for preventing this issue (if anyone reading this has similar issues, remember to use grease and wd-40 once a year or when the track is dry to save you a repair visit). Used the mailer $20 coupon which is always available. Recommend them very highly."

"It was easy making an appointment. The office staff was helpful and I had a choice of days and times. Appointments are set for a 2-hour window and the technician called one-half hour before arriving.
Part of the work was covered by a local online coupon and part was a repair. The technician, David, was excellent. He was knowledgeable and competent at the job and was a pleasure to work with. I didn't know how he would solve the problem of the bracket, which was installed by another company. The replacement looks like it will last as longer than my house lol. The price charged was reasonable, and the work was done quickly and clean-up was perfect.
Needless to say, I will use ABC for any garage door work in the future.
