"Brian and his team are fantastic! I could not believe my eyes when I looked out at my yard after sunrise this morning. He transformed our overgrown and unruly lawn into a park! My wife and I are looking forward to sitting out on our deck and simply enjoying the incredible makeover of our yard. Brian put in a high quality dark mulch to fill sculpted garden spaces, added plants and flowers that are beautiful and deer-resistant, formed borders around trees, shaped our shrubbery, removed overgrowth and deadwood from trees, removed vines from tree limbs that were threatening their health and beauty, removed unwanted ivy from our property, and more. He spent time before and during the project to make sure that he understood our goals. He stands by his work, and I am sure he will continue to be there for advise at any time. "The East Coast crew did a GREAT JOB on our spring landscape cleanup, including mulching and cutting beds, trimming trees and bushes and clearing debris from the entire yard. They worked hard and left our landscape looking fresh, manicured and ready for the new outdoor season!"

"When they did the edges, I didn’t want them to put the bricks there. I wanted them to put a trench to separate where the grass started and the flower bed. I asked them to do it because I wanted it to look more professional and not like something crazy I did that wasn’t straight. It looks very crooked like something I would have done. The front they did well. I told him and he came back out and let him off the hook. He acknowledgeable that he could have done a better job. They didn’t’ put the extensions on the down spout far enough. So now I need to re-dig and make them lower or add more top soil above. They didn’t do a professional job as I would have liked. They were supposed to spray and a couple of days later I noticed that none of the vegetation was dying. I called back and they acknowledge it and came back out. They were responsive.    I tried to use them again but they were not responsive."

"After finding Tillerman Gardens online and requesting an estimate for substantial hardscape/landscape work on our newly renovated house, we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Jesse, the owner, actually grew up in our neighborhood! On top of being a Takoma Park local, and an all around friendly, honest, business owner, we also came to learn that he does great work as well! His team completely transformed our hardscape areas, including installing a beautiful flagstone walkway and patio, a perfectly graded cement driveway, iron railings on our steps, and plants in a number of locations. On top of that, some of the work required some touch up and sealing and Jesse and his team have come out a couple of times later this spring to do that work unprompted. There's a little bit left, but I know they'll be around to finish it as they've taken care of us every step of the way. Even better, everything was done in budget. Look no further! These are your go to guys for all landscape/hardscape work in the area!"
