An appointment was scheduled to do the work in a timely fashion. I was called with instructions prior the service as I was told would happen. The provider came on time and the work was performed in a professional manner. Andre was polite, professional and knowledgeable ... and a very, very hard worker. He worked for many hours to prepare the tub for refinishing and did all possible to contain the inevitable dust generated by the procedure. FYI, the actual chemical refinishing has a very strong smell, but dissipated within a few hours with the windows open and ceiling fans on. In that the bathtub is quite old (like ~100 years) and much of the porcelain has been removed by years of cleaning, I am pleased with the appearance of the tub. Andre repaired numerous chips and dings without additional cost although the contract stated that more than three would be extra. In addition Andre recommended an 2nd coat of high build primer to help even out the surface, which I elected to have done ($100). Although the surface is not perfectly smooth like a new tub I am satisfied that all was done to provide me with the best possible result considering the original condition of the tub. Andre was here about 6.5 hours - he took care with the work and did not cut corners from what I know. There are special instructions for care of the tub (verbal and written) and you will have to ask me down the road about the durability of the surface, etc. There is one year guarantee on the work. There is a travel fee if the work is more than 20 miles from Orland Park. The deal coupon stated that is would be $15 but I was charged $30 because of additional distance - a surprise to me but fair enough. The only unanticipated problem I encountered was that replacing the caulk between the bathtub and the wall ended up being my responsibility. I did not understand this would be the case and in that I am not handy, want  the job done correctly, do not have time to take care of this myself, and have yet to find someone to come out to take care of this - I am a week out and still cannot use the tub/shower.

We unknowingly bought a super complicated bidet toilet that two other plumbers refused to install but Matt took on the job with confidence!
