Small jobs welcome

"We are very satisfied with the detailed, excellent and professional painting of the exterior of our home. Brian and Cathy of B&C Painting provided services at a very fair price for the amount of work. We plan on using them again on future projects. Highly recommend this pro."

"In the beginning it was good. The only problem was you couldn't communicate with the workers because of no English. We had the bathtub replaced with a walk in shower. From the doorway it looked great but get up close and it wasn't. Waited a while and called to complain. They came over to look at the job. I didn't even point out everything to them. They said they would be back to fix what I mentioned. Next month will be a year and nothing has been done. "

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Lufkin, TX

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
