"They were very prompt in returning my call and getting my job started.  The job took a little bit longer than estimated but the quality of the work was very good.  There was just one minor area that they could improve on, that is when they moved my furniture, they did not put it back, they could not remember from where they moved the stuff from and they put it back in the approximate place, then I ended up having to rearrange it like having the book shelf where it needed it to be.  They did leave a little bit of paint on my bath tub, on my ironing board and had a small bit on my linoleum in my laundry room.  They were very courteous and very prompt.  They were kind of expensive."

"The orginal space was not designed for a master bath suite so we had walls removed and added, electrical was removed and added or moved, doors removed and replaced elsewhere. The original toilet, sink, shower area was so small. All the adjustments made everything so roomy. <br /> Chris demoed the tile walls and shower. (A huge job due to cement behind the tile). Removed a wall including electrical, recontructed closet wall and door. Replaced floor tile, tiled the shower. Added a shower door. Replace toilet, vanity and sink. <br /> We could not be anymore happy with the new bathroom and Chris' work. <br /> Chris was great to work with and cautioned me if an idea I had was not structurely a good idea and provided a solution. Chris was very punctual. The projected started 8/6/2012 and was complete 9/23/2012. Chris also handled my many changes in the original plan quickly and efficiently. <br /> I would highly recommend Chris and will use him again for other needed projects in this old home. "Initially met with Dan back in late March / April and arranged a date for mid / late summer to do the work. He provided a quote for the work after our initial meeting in a few days and stuck with that quote all the way up to having the work completed. Dan completed the work in about 5 business days which worked fine with our schedules and per his initial estimates. He gave us a recommended paint to help go over the contractor grade paint used that didn't allow for easy cleanup or scuff removal. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the work performed. Dan took his time to do the job right correcting small irregularities in the wall prior to painting and taking time to place drop cloths accordingly to prevent speckles of paint getting on our dark floors from paint rolling. I've included a close up picture of the wall meeting some kitchen cabinetry. Anyone who's ever done painting or had sub par work performed on their house knows that the details of painting is what separate the pros from the bargain guys. In this particular picture and everywhere, there are clean lines with no paint runs or bleed over onto trim, cabinets, storage racks, wall plates, etc. His work doing a drywall repair over a part of our ceiling was outstanding. I've included a picture of before and after. I did an initial repair of this ceiling myself knowing the challenges and not getting an outcome near as polished as Dan did. At this point it appears as if there was never any repair completed which is a testament to how well it looks. I'd recommend and use again without any hesitation."

"Larry W. and his crew did a "Great Job" of extensive interior renovations/repairs of my 1100sf house in Orangeburg, which included interior & exterior carpentry, subfloor repair, all new interior doors, all new bath vanities & plumbing fixtures, refinishing kitchen cabinets, priming & new paint and new flooring throughout the entire home. They worked very efficiently, and Larry always kept me updated on the weekly progress with current photos. He also gave me good recommendations on material selection to make the final renovations look appealing. The finished project was quality and looked very professional. I highly recommend L& L Home Improvements for any remodel work you need in central SC."

"In 2009 I hired Carolina Refacers to reface my existing kitchen cabinets.  The price was cheaper than replacing all the cabinets and I had seen their work at a local home show.  I was very pleased with the installer and the result.  My kitchen looked beautiful.  I lived in that house until September, 2013, at which time I moved out and leased out this home to a young, professional couple.  When they left in February, 2015, I inspected the home and discovered that the cabinets over the stove had melted and the laminate beside the stove had bubbled.  I called Carolina Refacers and talked with Billy.  He was very nice and agreed to meet me at the home to inspect the problem  When he saw what had happened, he was puzzled and said he'd never seen that happen before, but did agree that it was a warranty issue and that he would order new cabinet doors and replace the laminate beside the stove.  He said this would take about 3 weeks.  In the meantime I put the house on the real estate market and it went under contract rather quickly.  Carolina Refacers did the work on the damaged area on 3/12/15.  I was on jury duty and unable to be at the house when the work was done.  Later that day I went to the house to see the work and I was very pleased with the cabinets and laminate.  However, the stove had been pulled out, which was fine, but the installer damaged the floor in front of the stove.  A vinyl tile is now missing.  The installer couldn't even push the stove all the way to the wall; it is about 6 inches away from the wall.  The stove is covered with dust and debris.  I am going to have to replace that missing tile with one behind the fridge.  No one called me these issues.  I believe because this was a warranty issue this company didn't care about cleaning up or minimizing damage they caused.  I am extremely disappointed. <br />"
