"I was 9 months pregnant and was desperate to repair bathrooms on our first floor fixed ASAP. Julian was very professional and proactive from the moment I reached out to him for a quote. He already had many clients in line due to recent hurricane damages in the area. However he was very understanding of the urgent situation at my house with unfinished work started by our initial contractor. He was very patient and was able to work things out with my home insurance in timely manner. They were able to have everything (two bathrooms) completed within 6 days. Julian and his crew worked very diligently and throughly. Their complete work was superb as Julian went above and beyond. "The original issue was getting a leak repaired from the A/C.  They were not able to find and repair the leak.  I don't blame them though.  They repaired the attic crawl space access hole, which I am happy it is safer, but I am unhappy that the A/C line was not confirmed to be repaired.  I was only able to get the ceiling painted and I think they may have damaged my A/C.  The A/C worked before the repair and did not work after.  It is a tenant occupied property so I wasn't able to be present for the repair.  I was a little let down by this service.  The A/C is about a year old and now it is costing me additional money to get it diagnosed and repaired.

We recently purchased a 2nd home on Lake James with an exterior that is 100% cedar.  The exterior was in serious need of cleaning and re-staining.  It had not been maintained; and, had a significant amount of mold staining and several areas of the trim had the original finish peeling off.

We contracted with Mike and Crystal to prep and re-stain the exterior of our home.  Throughout the process, Mike demonstrated thoroughness, competency and responsibility.  Mike and Crystal took personal responsibility to ensure they delivered a quality product.  Mike kept his commitments and did not compromise his work product even when faced with the stripping process taking more time than he expected.  He completed the project per the schedule he committed.

Mike demonstrated a high attention to detail in the finishing process and ensured the project was completed to my satisfaction.  The home looks beautiful...we could not be happier.

I solicited bids from several paint contractors and evaluated several before selecting Mike.  His pricing was very competitive versus several other contractors; but, I never observed where Mike cut corners.

I would definitely recommend MIke's Painting and will plan to use Mike again when we have painting needs.

"We are extremely happy with the work Robert and his crew did for us. The job was started on schedule, completed within the estimated time-frame (only three days!), and the crew cleaned up after themselves very well. Each crew member was polite and helpful with answering any questions we had about the job. And Robert was very accessible and was at the jobsite every day. One of the things I really appreciate about working with Royal Landscaping is that Robert didn't pressure us into going any particular direction, but provided design input every time we asked him. We've worked with several contractors on home projects over the years, and it's often difficult to get them to share professional opinions and provide honest feedback about our ideas. I know I'm the homeowner and I'm paying for it, but when I ask the professional who does this for a living for suggestions or feedback on my ideas, I really don't want to hear "we can do whatever you want"! So I really appreciate the fact that Robert willingly provided his input throughout the project and helped us with the design element. And I readily admit that every single suggestion he had turned out to be excellent. Pintrest and Google are great, but that info isn't specific to my application. So when it comes time to do something of this scope, I want to rely on a bit more than internet pictures. He's also very knowledgeable about his profession and thoroughly answered all of our questions (I was particularly concerned about drainage in our hilly yard). We also had Robert's team do the sod in the back, and he provided a certificate for the grass (I'd never even heard of that before) when he gave us lawncare instructions. They put down pinestraw as well and even relocated several of my plants when building the retaining walls. Also, when building the wall, the crew needed to relocate an existing underground drain pipe. The old pipe was of low quality and had holes, so they replaced it with a better-functioning and better-quality pipe. Finally, Robert gave us the best price/value out of the four companies we got quotes from. We initially were going to go with a different type of stone for our retaining wall, but after seeing the Heritage Block Royal Landscaping offers, we decided to go with that. And we're very glad we did. It's head and shoulders above other products we've seen. After our project was completed, my neighbor across the street said he plans on calling Robert to do work for him. And within this first week of it being done, three other neighbors from different streets in our community have stopped by our house to talk about our new retaining walls and how nice they look! When a vendor doesn't live up to expectations or standards, I actively voice my complaints. And when a vendor/company performs exceptionally well, I like to acknowledge that just too. I rely on reading reviews to help me make decisions about what companies or products are best, so I hope this review helps others. I don't know if Angie's List has any kind of messaging system for members, but if so, feel free to send me any questions you may have about this company. I realize this is a glowing review, but it was a smooth process and we really had no problems or complaints. Robert seemed just as concerned as I was about ensuring my project was done right and was of high quality. I'd definitely hire them in the future."
