"Empa is an exceptional business! I had cracked stucco on the front my 4500 sq.ft. house. This let water get behind the stucco and caused rot in some of the plywood and wall studs. Quite a serious and destructive problem. Jehu (the company principal) was able to localize the problem areas and his crew replaced the affected plywood and studs. His crew then applied new stucco and color finishes, so the house looked brand new. In my experience Jehu is a man of his word, and his crew are top level technicians. They work harmoniously as a team and I heartily recommend Empa services to anyone."

"I can only say great things about JA Drywall. We had quite a complicated chimney repair. From the beginning of the process, this company stood out from all the others. Most companies did not return my calls. One did respond but never showed up to start work. The JA Drywall owner came to our initial appointment on time, evaluated the job and gave us a reasonable and fair estimate. The work crew then came on time and worked really hard for two days to repair the chimney. At each stage they kept us informed of progress. They did a wonderful job, kept the site clean and tidied up once job completed. "The majority of the work was done well. During our time working with the company there was a change in leadership and staffing that slowed progress on the job so that it took them around a month to complete the originally contracted job. However, they were dedicated to only using staff who could complete a quality job. The owners were very responsive by phone, and would frequently come out to check on progress. If we expressed unhappiness about some of the work, they would send someone out to fix the job to the best of their ability. Their painting/plastering work was not especially great, we knew that they could not match the color, however, the patches were sloppy which was surprising given their name. I wish they would have used higher quality materials for the fixtures, but the best of Lowe's is what they used. However, we were allowed to select the fixtures ourselves and they would pick up the item. If we wanted higher quality, we would have had to research, purchase, and pick up the fixtures ourselves and they said that they would install the fixtures. After getting many estimates and working with other contractors, we would use and recommend them in the future, especially if they had settled their staffing/leadership issues."
