The second was replacing an ancient “builder’s gas fireplace” (no firebox or chimney) and direct venting through the roof. The second job involved modifications of the space to accommodate a see-through fireplace, and Reign of Fire even recommended a fantastic stone mason who created a stone surround in both rooms, including mantles made of reclaimed wood and a one-piece hearthstone.
