John arrived on time the day of the inspection, gave an overview of the process and asked if I have a list of questions or concerns for him to address. "It took them a month to come out. Basically there's miscommunication between their staff. They thought they covered it. It was just the roof that fixed out in the bottom. It was the porch roof leaking into my house. They thought they brought a cover to cover it but they never did. It was bad. I was waiting for them. They told me they're coming but they wouldn't come. The guys were very nice but they didn't follow through on that commitment."

"Very pleased with all aspects of this project by Swanson's Roofing. From the initial visit for the estimate to the final clean-up. We got 3 estimates for our project, and Swanson's was the highest of the 3, but they impressed us so much with their proposal, that we decide to go with them. We knew ours would be a difficult project, because all of our existing plywood sheathing was substandard, weak, and decaying. We would need all wood sheathing torn off and replaced as well as new roofing. They gave us plenty of notice when they would be coming. We are retired, so we were at home to watch the whole process. They showed up on time at 7 a.m. the day of the project. The crew descended on our roof like a swarm of locusts. We counted 14 workers on the roof at one time, all wearing proper safety gear I might add. We watched them work up close from our 2nd story windows, and we got to see what hard work this was, but how skillfully they did it. We asked them to add a few pieces of missing attic insulation and insulation baffles for us, and they willingly did so with a smile. The entire project was finished by about 2:30 p.m. Amazing. They spent a long time (all 14 of them) going through the yard to clean up debris, nails, etc. The roof looks beautiful, and should last a long time. Certainteed provides a 50 year transferable warranty, and Swanson's backs that up with their own lifetime guarantee on their workmanship. Swanson's is a company that definitely understands the concept of customer service. This is something that you don't see too often today. I would highly recommend them to all."

"The service I received from Promax Construction was absolutely FANTASTIC! I had a rotted fascia board on the south side of the house that was in dire need of repair and Promax was the only company that I could find in Decatur who were actually willing to come out and get the job done. After calling to set up an appointment, John showed up exactly when scheduled, gave me an estimate and I agreed to it on the spot. His price was fair, so I signed the contract and he said he'd send out his guys as soon as he could. The Promax crew showed up roughly two weeks later and immediately got to work. The first crew of guys (sorry I didn't catch their names or I'd credit them here) pulled down the old board and cut and installed the new piece perfectly. It was exactly what I wanted. After that, John had Shane come out to do some finishing work on the roof and chimney and now everything looks fantastic! I am extremely GRATEFUL to Promax Construction for doing this job for me when nobody else would and the next time I need more work done on the house, I will definitely be calling Promax Construction FIRST. "Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"
