"Corey is a great guy to do business with. This is the THIRD project I've done around this 200 year old house with him. His quotes are very detailed with line item pricing. You want option A, that's this price. Go with option B and it's this price. I don't see how it could be done better. I got exactly what I was expecting and didn't pay a penny over what was quoted. I think his prices are fair and reflect the quality of work that his crew does. <br /> Corey is focused on customer satisfaction and on doing the job properly. During the course of the job, one of the materials that he'd originally planned to use (and quoted to me) seemed substandard so Corey went with a more expensive, superior product and didn't change his price at all.  <br /> They do what they say they're going to do. They show up when they say they're going to show up and they and work like crazy. Everything was done within the timelines expected. All the guys on the crew are professionals. <br /> When this project is done (and I've got some money saved up again) I'll be contacting Corey for my FOURTH project around the old place. <br /> In case you're curious - project one was a scrape and repaint of all exterior trim (it's a stone house). Project two was a massive dig out of the dirt basement, pouring a concrete floor with radiant floor heating, repointing the interior stone walls, renovating the structural support of the first floor, and some electrical rerouting so that I could finish up a bedroom in the formerly dungeon-like basement. Project four is going to be the addition of a screened porch off the kitchen whose roof will also serve as a deck for the master bedroom. <br />"

"It took a while to get scheduled (weather was not working in anyone's favor) but once I was contacted, services were scheduled for the next day. All cracks were repaired, and the sealcoat came out great. Since services were rendered, a few of the cracks have re-appeared, but this did not surprise me. I likely waited way too long to have this done. I intend to have the driveway cracks repaired and a new sealcoat applied next year, should this special re-appear."

"My brother’s basement flooded from a malfunctioning valve in his washing machine. There was a great deal of water that sat for some time before the issue was discovered. Fortunately, I knew just who to call when he needed a hand. I called MSI and spoke to the owner Joe, who arrived with his crew at my brother’s home within an hour. They were very considerate of the current safety recommendation and wore masks and gloves during our entire encounter and went to work immediately. Among easing our anxiety, they extracted all of the water, cleaned, and dried the basement, leaving some drying equipment behind to ensure that nothing was left soiled. When Joe came back to pick up his equipment, he also checked over everything thoroughly and performed mold testing. It’s tough to find thorough, affordable, and reliable companies anymore, but Joe and his team exceeded all of our expectations time and time again. Thanks so much guys!"

Compared to other companies we got a great fair price and our basement that was flooded is now dry as a bone! The workers really work hard and finished our entire basement in less than 2 days. "Joe was an excellent choice to have as a contractor for our basement renovation. He always left the work space very neat and organized when stopping for the day, worked continuously only stopping briefly to eat lunch. He was easy to talk to about changes or specifics of the job, did excellent work and was willing to undertake tasks that he had never done before since we were requesting some “odd” things. He explained the pros and cons of our choices but the final decision was up to us. He always returned phone calls or texts promptly and was at our house at the times he said he would be. When he came to view the job initially he gave us a verbal ballpark estimate and then, after we agreed to have him do the work, emailed an itemized list of the work to be done. The ballpark estimate was on point with the written agreement and the only change in pricing at the end of the job was what was added/changed at our request. We now have 450 square feet of additional living space in our house and are thrilled with the finished product which was completed in a shorter amount of time than we expected. Joe is skilled in many areas of home repairs so there is no need to have multiple subcontractors other than doing the drywalling and he has used this specific group of men for years. To summarize, Joe was a pleasure to have in our home and we had no regrets about having him as our contractor."
