"My wife and I wanted to get some badly needed work done on our house that we've been putting off for a while. That included trim replacement in the form of of fascia and window trim. We also needed a ton of work on our back porch to get rid of wood rot that was in large part due to the roofing on our back porch. Also, the gutters needed cleaning out, sealing, and we needed gutter guards added to them. And last but not least, we had the house repainted externally. Jamie and his crew were fantastic. He was very easy to work with and talk to about the work that needed to be done from the start. I had a lot of ideas myself, and he was able to steer me in the right direction with what needed to be done. That might sound unimportant, but I could have spent a lot more money doing things that really didn't need to be done in his estimation. His reasoning was sound, and I appreciated that. That spoke integrity to me from the start. A big winner in my mind. So, I would recommend Jamie and his crew 100% on that alone. When I got the estimate, I was pleasantly surprised at the bottom line. I believe his cost to be very reasonable, which again speaks volumes to me about that man I'm dealing with. They had a lot of work scheduled ahead of us. Jamie was up front and in communication with me every step of the way, and he kept me in the loop on what was happening from the beginning. Even with the rain that we had in October which was supposed to push things back (as it does with an outside job), he ended up squeezing us in at least a week ahead of time. The work was just as consistent and excellent as everything else that we experienced. He used quality materials (which he suggested during our walk around). They were here at 9am and worked until 6pm or later everyday. The crew was friendly, respectful, and worked hard. No loafing here. Jamie was here everyday - sometimes more than once per day - and went over things as they were done to insure the quality of the work. He took care of a few things that came up along the way too either by discovery or by request. They didn't even break stride. He even took care of some drywall work we needed that was added at the last minute due to a squirrel invading our MB wall (which we had to cut open). It looks like nothing ever happened. Jamie even came back to due a couple of small things that I didn't notice until after the work was completed. Those things actually turned out to be nothing wrong at all. However, Jamie went ahead and took care of those few little items just to help out. No sweat - no arguments - he came out and took care of that himself. I would HIGHLY recommend Jamie and his crew at Encompass Contracting for any work that you need done to your house. If we need any additional work I'll be calling Jamie in a second. I've recommended Jamie to multiple folks. He is very personable and a man of integrity. I can't say enough good things about our experience. Thank you so much for your hard work. "Power home replaced the siding, fascia, soffit, gutters, shutters, and door of my home. The crews they sent out for installation were professional and competent. I was concerned about how the gutters would turn out as well as the color combinations. I was always able to call in to the service department with questions and they helped resolve all of my concerns. After the job is complete, they send out a quality assurance person to make sure that the installation was done properly. They answer your questions at that time. The company offers a lifetime warranty, so they will send someone out to correct any problems you have. I was very pleased with the look of the home exterior colors, and the new door. "The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"The process was very Professional. Greg came out and evaluated my old shingles roof and gave me a price to install a new metal roof. He was very informative concerning my change over from a shingles roof to a metal roof. Greg explained the step by step installation process and the warranty that was included. "The project lasted about a week and a half.  Overall, the flooring looks great.  There was a leak in the hot water supply line once they removed the dishwasher and disconnected the kitchen sink.  I don't want to blame them for that because the pipe is CPVC and the plumber who came out and fixed it said the pipe was brittle.  I think it just got bumped too hard and the glue at the joint gave out.
The owner, Chris, pointed out a twisted supply connection on the kitchen faucet so I bought a new one for them to install.
The price came in about $1000 less than another contractor had quoted."

"I had originally called to get a price on replacing the vent boots on a foreclosed home i was trying to purchase.  Marcus met me there and although he was running slightly late he did call and let me know.  No big deal to me.  If your service provider isn't busy there may be a reason in my mind!  Anyway,  He quickly climbed up on the roof and hit me with some devastating news that I needed a complete new roof.  This destroyed me.  Trying to protect my best interest I asked for a quick quote on a replacement cost.  He honored my request although he repeatedly informed me that he hated to do a rough guesstimate but understood my position.  i had to have some kind of idea to go back to the seller with $$ wise and it had to be about an hour from when we met.
 Fast forward to the seller rejecting my offer but then we agreed on a lower price and I owned the home.  I then decided to get my usual 2 more estimates on the repairs to the roof vents.  I have heard repeatedly how roofers are some of the most dishonest folks in the business. Both of the other companies told me that I needed a new roof as well so I began getting prices.
Marcus then got down to business and was able to give me a detailed price quote that wound up being lower than the other 2.  He also was able to offer interest free financing for a year with no payments which certainly helped with the cash flow.  His
advice as to what color was very helpful.  I really wanted a wood color and he informed me that it would look phenomenal for about 5 years then due to the large amount of hardwoods on my lot they would begin staining it.  This sad but true fact was confirmed.  
Only problem was now getting it installed.  He was willing to work Thanksgiving week if necessary.  He knew I was trying to celebrate Christmas in the house and was more than willing to do his part.  Unfortunately Mother Nature was very uncooperative with us.The only delay in getting it installed as promised was waiting for a few days break in the weather.  This is certainly understandable.  Once the break came they showed up with a large crew and got right to it.  They protected my landscaping and brand new HVAC compressors.  They worked well into dusk and were very fast and efficient.  To date I have found I think 3 nails leftover that they missed.  
I read the other reviews on here and found Marcus easy to get a hold of and courteous and friendly as well as trustworthy and honest.  By the time it was all said and done I felt like i had purchased a roof from a friend.  To those looking at the price paid and saying WOW that's high!  My roof is very large with a steep pitch and lots of dormer windows.  2 stories in the front and 3 in the back.  Lots of gutters as well. He did offer me the option of going over the old roof and took the time to explain the pros and cons of that.
