"Just wanted to thank Kody DeWitt with Home Genius Exteriors for helping us get our new roof. It was long over due and we were not sure what our options were. That is where Kody came in and walked us through the entire process. He got on the roof and climbed up in a tiny little crawspace that I would never get into. He came down pouring sweat but never missed a beat. After he came down he went over all of issues we had in our crawspace and on the roof. We didnâ t know what to expect but Kody is the man! After going over all the issues he broke down the price and payments. It was a bit more than we expected but we knew Kody was not just trying to sell us. He had our best interests at heart. He actually found a way to make it affordable and we didnâ t have to give up anything the roof needed. We were expecting we would have to wait to get it done but he came Wednesday and the roof will be done today!!!! "Cohen’s Painting is a company we’ve worked with before, 10 years ago When we had smoke damage and major painting that needed to be done in our entire house. Tim and his crew were so professional that I would have nobody else do painting/repairs on my home. Tim Cohen’s crew work on one home at a time which is great knowing that your home is their top priority! The damage to the kitchen ceiling was repaired quickly. The repairs and painting of the kitchen and great room were all done in one day. The rest of the repairs of our bathroom were extensive, the a portion of the ceiling had to be ripped out to the studs and joists; fans brought in by the insurance companies cleaning crew but they left just a curtain of plastic covering our damaged bathroom and it was extremely cold outside (and inside since we had no insulation). Tim and his crew placed additional framing around the ceiling joists to make sure the drywall was firmly attached and wouldn’t sag. The attention to detail was heartwarming especially after fighting with the insurance company to get the funds to have repairs completed properly. The ceiling was repaired and the texture on the ceiling matches the original ceiling perfectly, you can’t tell the difference!!! I was so impressed. The painting of the ceiling and walls were done so well and I couldn’t be happier. Tim and his crew protected everything in the home perfectly and cleaned each night before they left. The areas that were not being worked on were protected with a plastic curtain and there was minimal dust from the repairs. I will say that of all the companies I’ve worked with on repairs/work being done on my home, Cohen’s Painting & Papering has been the most professional, reliable & produce such perfection and had such pride in their work; I highly recommended this company. professionally and cleaned each night before they left. The areas that were not being worked on were protected with a plastic curtain during work and there was minimal dust from the repairs. The curtains were removed nightly so we could sleep in our bedroom. The repairs and painting took approximately 9 days. I will say that of all the companies I’ve worked with in the past, Cohen’s Painting & Papering has been the most professional, reliable, produced such perfection and had such pride in their work; I highly recommended this company. On a side note, the work that was done was between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Tim had the kitchen/ great room done first on my request so I could decorate inside so it felt like Christmas! I really appreciated this since it is such a special time of year."
