"I met Jim Steele, the owner of Steele Construction in May of 2013 and provided him with a plan on what I wanted to have done to prepare a 2 acre lot my wife and I own for the placement of a manufactured home.  Jim was pleasant and professional from the moment I met him.  After discussing what we wanted done with the property he provided us with a written estimate of what the costs would be.  We accepted his offer.  During the process we added extra items including extra cement and enlarging the garage which added to the cost of the initial estimate.  <br /> During the entire process Jim was easy to work with and had several good ideas.  He did what he said he would do and did it on time. His quality of work was excellent. He was responsive and always got back to us whether via email or the phone.  He never once ignored any of our phone calls or emails.  He assisted us through all aspects of the process including obtaining all permits and calling for all inspections. Jim worked on holidays and never stopped even during some inclement weather we had in September.  This was a process that took from June through the first of October due to preparation of the site, waiting for the manufactured home to be built and delivered then completing the concrete work, driveway and garage after the home was delivered. <br /> Bottom line my wife and I would highly recommend Jim Steele of Steele Construction and plan on using him to build our shop next year. <br />"

"Working with Green Rising Construction is fantastic.  Owner, Robin Wengert, is professional, talented, honest, and believes in making his clients happy.  ** First Project - For my experience with my entry way front door - Robin worked with me to come up with a design plan that exceeded my expectations.  His craftsmanship is flawless.  My entry hall originally had glass blocks in the wall about 6" away from the trim on the front door.  They have always bothered me, as the look was incomplete.  Robin designed a surround for the front door and glass blocks that is a solid framework and makes the entry way appear as one piece.  He even gave my front door a little "facelift" by applying some of the stain to it, that he had used on the framework.  It is that extra attention to detail which I so appreciate.  My entry hall is a piece of artwork now and I've received numerous compliments on how spectacular and warm it now appears.  ** Second Project - I have always wanted an area for working on my crafts.  Since my previous experience with Green Rising Construction was so positive, I called upon Robin to lend his expertise in creating a craft area in my family room.  Up until that point I had shelves and tables piled high with sewing, scrapbooking and rubber stamping projects.  Having everything laying out in that manner does not make for an inviting workspace.  Robin assisted me in purchasing cabinets and countertops, and he then created an inviting workspace for me that allows me to "hide" my projects and supplies when I'm not working on them - and it affords me so much more counterspace for working on my craft projects.  The results are amazing, and I'm truly thrilled. In the past I had worked with a different contractor, and I was not pleased with the experience.  I felt we were misled and that we weren't treated honestly or fairly.  However, working with Green Rising Construction was wonderful, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a contractor.  Robin Wengert has an excellent work ethic, which is a trait that I highly value.  His high standards are evident in his work.  He is honest and easy to work with.  His design work is creative and he has the ability to look at a project from several aspects in order to present his clients with workable options.  Although my projects were what I would consider to be small, Robin treated us with respect and demonstrated that we were valued for our business.  He helped to make two areas of my home more beautiful and liveable and I am truly grateful.  I will continue to use Green Rising Construction for all of my future home needs - and I hope you will too!"
